Worst experience ever We came to this hertz in the Channelview location because state farm sent us here after getting into an accident once we got our car the car was dirty, 13% oil, no coolant and a ball on the tire and they told us just to use the car like that until our return date never told us to return the car with Gas and then charged us $9 per gallon Once I asked for an explanation the manager Jace Martin was very rude and he was yelling on the phone and honged up on me and lied saying he showed us the car with a full tank of Gas when he never got out of his sit to show us the car never took picture of the car when we saw the conditions of the care we even went back to tell him how dirty the car was and he just said not to worry about anything.

This morning, I was informed that the 7 passenger vehicle that I reserved for a family trip was not available. Not only did we reserve it on the Hertz website, but we prepaid. The manager that called was extremely rude! When my sister and I asked if we could possibly get two vehicles to accommodate us, he refused. He said he could not help us and while I was still talking, he hung the phone up in my face. I was actually speaking calmly with him and he was extremely rude!!! He refused to even listen to our pleas. He had no solution to offer. He refused to assist us. I am truly disappointed with Hertz and the person they have hired as a manager at the Channelview location. If he was not the manager, he claimed he was. This happened at 9:30 a.m. on 7/24/24.

I rented a car there twice 1st time was great. 2nd time I returned to. The car 2 days later. Was charged 80 bucks in my notification from my bank. I'm thinking great deal now I. Get a notification where I was charged again 400 and. $62. I tried contacting these people for. 3 hours now. I've contacted my bank they have files faud

I booked a reservation for a mid-sized vehicle 72 - hours before pick-up (I needed to have my own vehicle repaired). Hertz listed the vehicle as available on that date / time. I stopped by the Hertz Channelview location twice over the next two-days to make sure nothing could wrong and both times the Hertz rep had already left for the day. I left my name & number and requested a call; that didn't happen. On the pick-up date, 8 - hours before pick-up I was contacted by the Channelview Hertz and told I would have to take a mid-sized SUV AT THE UPGRADE PRICE (a $40 increase in a 1 - day rental). This is an obvious bait-and- switch probably done to appease an insurance company over someone paying out-of-pocket. I now have no other option (ever price same-day rentals) but to take the POS vehicle at the inflated price. This is outrageous and I will be following up with their corporate office. The reason I gave one-star to these charlatans is THERE IS NO LOWER RATING AVAILABLE.Added 12/12/22: I called back within two-hours after my initial contact with "Jace" at Hertz to demand I get the upgraded mid-size SUV at the same rate as the mid-size car because they (Hertz) could not provide the car I rented (and was guaranteed) online. I stated I would rather take a same-day rental hit elsewhere than pay these dishonest charlatans for an upgrade I didn't request but I would pick up the car I rented or an upgrade at the price agreed to. Jace said he would not provide the SUV to me unless I paid extra for it. Finally, he said he would cancel my rental which I did not agree to initially because I was aware of the cancelation fee imposed if I canceled or didn't show. "Jace" told me that he had never known Hertz to impose cancellation fees and he specifically told me HE would not impose a cancelation fee. That was my last contact with "Jace" or Hertz.Guess what?! Hertz DID CHARGE A CANCELATION FEE TO MY CREDIT CARD! Fortunately, I had contacted my credit card prior to calling Hertz back to inform them of the situation and cancel my authorization (so that was in their records when I noticed the fraudulent charge went through). They reversed the charge but what a GIANT PAIN IN THE A$$ FROM HERTZ!!DO NOT RENT A VEHICLE FROM THIS HERTZ LOCATION! IT'S MORE LIKE A FRONT FOR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY THAN A LEGITIMATE CAR RENTAL.

This is the worst service I’ve ever recieved in my life I needed road side assistance to unlock my car and ended up having to pay out of pocket bc I received no help from you guys just a constant run around of people when I asked to talk to a supervisor the same thing happen never ever am I again using you guys can’t wait to turn in this car .

THEY SUCK, MADISON RIPS YOU OFF FOR GAS THAT YOU ALREADY PAID FOR, PROBABLY PUTTING IN HER POCKET AND HERTZ HAS NO IDEA!!!!!
