“This was my first time buying meat from this place and all I can say is so far so good. I haven't had the opportunity to taste the quality of it yet. Will update soon.”
“Great bargains!! Got beef shanks cheap and all veggies for $20!!!! Paid less than La Michuacana or HEB!! Love food to go delicious pork en salsa Verde. They need this store in League City!!!”
“Best Barbacoa in the East Side of Houston…family owned and operated for over 30 years at least from what I remember. You better get there early Saturday & Sunday morning because they run out fast!”
“Really good selection of meat and other products. Family owned business!! Friendly staff. Very good prices! We usually shop the packs and find extras to purchase. Highly recommend and always support local business!”
“I have been coming to this lovely store for 25 years now. All their produce and meats are always the freshest quality. Taqueria is to die for as well! So delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. This is my go-to spot in town.”
“Panchos is a typical mexican cuts and products meat market, if you are looking for mexican products this is one of try place, the barbacoa on Sundays is pretty good, a little bit pricey but you can't complain if you want good products.”
“Este lugar es una delicia , desde las tortillas , el sabor de los guisos , las salsas y la atención al cliente . Las tortillas son hechas a mano . Recomiendo este lugar 100%”

1630 Spencer Hwy, South Houston“My boyfriend and I got tacos and my mom ordered a plate. The rice and beans were alright. Tacos were OK. Barbacoa was good, Al pastor was okay. It was cheap, but won't be getting anything other than the barbacoa next time. The agua frescas were absolutely delicious. My mom got pistachio, so creamy and yummy. I got the horchata and it was perfect. My boyfriend got sandía and it tasted so fresh and fruity. The real star of the show was the elote that they sell outside at the front. Honestly, BEST elote in Houston. And we got taki's on top for $6. We will be back just for the elote. The pan dulces and conchas were delicious too.”

“Love the food here. Very authentic and delicious, although I recommend going earlier in the day. I have been going here for years and have never had a racist experience in the least. You have to go up to the counter and speak up, that's all. They don't ask you they just wait for you to say something. I don't speak spanish and I don't look in the least bit Mexican/Latin origin and have never suffered quality of service or food because of it. Just point to what you want. The most complicated question I get is flour or corn tortillas in spanish, and I just respond in english, no big deal. The menudo here is the bomb.”
“Excellent service, very clean and everything in order, they always serve with a smile, they honestly give excellent service, Jorge Estrada helped me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I personally haven't gone there for much and not to often I'm sure that I'd have rated it 5 stars with continuous visits as the service and products are good and the meat looks very good and I definitely plan on buying some from there sometime.”
“Love to buy my meats here the staff are so friendly and helpful awesome customer service great prices and fresh meats and produce. They really make you feel welcome here.”
“Excellent place to get meat and pre seasoned meats. They have meals ready to go but you have to pay first... Carne asada had some very fatty/chewy pieces that I wish they cleared out but it was still delicious!!”

638 Freeport St, Houston“I like shopping here because I always find what I need. Varied products, friendly treatment from employees, reasonable prices, good parking. (This is my personal opinion, it is acceptable that it differs from that of other people).”
“I go in here a lot, mostly to kill time as I'm always in the area. This location is just like their other stores, They have a food counter there. l always check out the steam table before making any taco decisions. Breakfast and lunch are pretty safe times to go because the food is fresh. The meat counter has got to be the other reason people would look for this place. They always have what you need for the grill. Their marinades are popular, especially on the pork ribs and fajitas. The produce section is kept up and stocked, so if you find you need banana leaves, here you go. If you find yourself waiting on someone at Hobby airport, vgo here. I'll be there eating pan dulce drinking coffee. Happily killing time.”

715 Normandy St, Houston“It's a small Mexican grocery store but has everything you need to make your recipes. They have a butcher shop in the rear and a small restaurant for those quick fixes of taco and sometimes menudo. They also have a small bakery with all the tasty breads. It has lots of parking and with security. Most of the time I go there after 5pm when it's not too busy. It's a great place to shop for groceries if you don't want the hassle of Kroger's or Walmart. The only grip I have in the store is not all the employees speak English, especially the butcher shop. Out of all the La Michoacana stores around my area this is the go to store I hit up for convenience and hassle free.”
“Hands down the evening crew is always so hands on and so helpful when you need something! Never a bad attitude always making you feel comfortable when shopping there :)”
“I'm going for tacos, you can come, do you WANNA?You said you maybe would, so decide, are you GONNA?Sandwiches might be fun, but tacos are FUNNEREspecially when you get them here at MICHOACANA!Excellent Latin grocery store with a bit of everything. A lot of the prices are medium to high, like a convenience store, but much more convenient and with far more option.Getting cheap breakfast tacos were highly enjoyable, I actually think they're better than a lot of the places that specialize in tacos in this neighborhood. And let's never forget the Spanglish voiceover guy who can be heard in here regularly... much like the narrator in Jane The Virgin.”
“We were in the area & stopped by to have a quick breakfast plate to go, not disappointed at all!! Ordered 2 medium easy over eggs w/ham slice, refried beans, potatoes (but they gave us rice instead), flour tortillas & a darkened tomatillo sauce poured over the egg's. NOT to shabby at all!! Gave us 2 extra sauce's to go per plate which I intend to use it as a marinade later!! I'll rate a 5 *****”
“Very good food the lady's are like mom n grandma's food they go way back of their delicious season of their experience of very Very good mexican dishes..this food is every time like mom and me grandma were cooking for a party and the family!”
