New review: Lone Star Vision: Celina Brought my daughter in for an eye exam today to the new Lone star vision and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and efficient it is! I don't believe it's been open for very long, it's right off of Preston Rd in Celina. The offices are beautifully designed, I loved all of the thoughtful pieces throughout, definitely thumbs up for the coffee bar! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the doctor took his time to explain the pictures of the eye to my daughter, which was fascinating! They got us in and out pretty quickly and did an amazing job. I think my daughter was really happy with her eyeglass selection. She hasn't had glasses for several years and is looking forward to them, especially for driving. We opted to add in the blue light filter to help with screen time effects on the eyes. My visit was great. They used eyedrops that lasted about 30min. Not the ones nearly incapacitate me 4-5hr after saying it'll only be 30-45min. I've been scared since April over a static floater. I visited a large clinic off the tollway & was told come asap since at times indicates retinal damage .... But no cause found. Just come back in 30 days. Went from emergent to ok bye lol. This is where LSV was different. They go over your scans with you. Explain & answer all questions. Point & click to show you. Make sure you understand. You're not rushed. They give time to process info. They make recommendations on what might help & keep you comfy. These things make a huge difference.

Our experience in Lone Star Vision’s new building is excellent. Doctor Lundeen won my trust from the start with his explanation of how an eye scan can improve the longevity of our vision, and what early warning signs to be aware of. Olivia fitted both of us for glasses taking extra care with my spouse to ensure style, fit, and form for the type of work she does. It is so refreshing to hear a person’s opinion with such tact. We will use Lone Star Vision again and recommend to friends.

I am so happy to have been referred to Lone Star Vision a year ago. The staff is very professional and friendly and I have total confidence that Dr. Hanstad is delivering excellent care for my complicated situation. I highly recommend them for the best in eye care.

Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. It was my son’s first real eye doctor exam / contact evaluation and his doctor assistant and Dr. Brantley were great and very patient and helpful. I’m transferring to be a patient!!

I’ve gone to Lone Star and Dr Hanstad for years. The office operates at high efficiency on schedule which I appreciate very much. Terrific selection of frames esp for us with large noggins. Dr Hanstad is highly professional and I recommend Celina Lone Star Optical and Dr Hanstad. They sponsor Frisco Rough Riders which is a big plus to our community.
