We had our son at Peak Performance camp last week and was set for this week but removed him and took him out when I watched the owner Gary aggressively grab his arm and yell at him cuz he was being "too slow" to come in at drop off. Even the female staff member at the check in area said it was uncalled for and aggressive and always said nothing but great things. My wife said also apparently she noticed him grab his face to get his attention when she was coming in for pick up the night before. Not aggressive but still don't touch other people's kids. Can only imagine what was going on when he knew I wasn't there. Even three days later my son is asking why they were mean to him there. Needless to say don't recommend that place. I've since had 2 other families in our neighborhood tell me they also removed their kids because the kids complained of mean and bad treatment. Our son is also special needs and diagnosed with hyper active ADHD and sensory issues

This is a third year, since we are with Peak Performance. This is the best place for Martial Arts in Cedar Park. Definitely recommend!

We have tried multiple camps and have been SO impressed with Peak Performance. They are regimented but yet so welcoming and warm. Our son comes home exhausted but happy. Staff is a wide range of ages but all seem dedicated and focused. Our son looks forward to everyday while he begged to miss other camps.

We were initially just looking for an after school program as our oldest son was not a fit for the typical one held in school cafeterias. He needed more structure. But we soon realized Peak had a lot more to offer than just after school. Our oldest started martial arts for the first time since he was already there everyday. We then attended the awesome summer camps, spring break camps, holiday camps and he loved it so much my youngest started going when he was old enough. The only reason we left is because we moved to a different city. For those wanting to put their kid into sports because you want them to be fit… listen up. My almost 9 year old started basketball this season, he’s a first time player, and regardless of some other kids looking athletic he is by far the most conditioned player. None of the other boys can even get through a 10 minute warm up without a break and I completely credit Peak’s training for that. So he not only learned all the discipline, self defense and other interesting things that come with practicing martial arts but also an amazing amount of stamina and strength that I was not expecting.

Our daughter has attended Peak Performance Martial Arts camps for two summers, and she's literally counting down for next summer. It's well organized, well supervised, and includes martial arts training (if you wish). The staff has a genuine interest in the kids safety, fun, and personal character development. When you attend Peak you feel like family. I would, without hesitation, give their camps and programs my highest recommendation.

I don’t like complicated facilities I like to be able to walk in and get a price but they make things so complicated and fabricated because you have to see a “master” in order to get a price so basically the have their agents trained to say that they have all these “promotions in place” but it’s just a trick to get you in and then they explain that in order to get an exact price you have to basically see the owner so technically they give everyone a different price. They’ll try to cover it up saying it’s all about the child and their attitude and eye contact and all this BS but in the end save your self tome and Go Somewhere else. What a mess of a company.

There’s not a lot of people or places we will trust with our children, especially with them in Cedar Park and often looking different than others here (they’re mixed and look black). In fact, we’ve never hired a babysitter. When we started my oldest son, now 8, here at Peak it was after a horrible experience at another after school program. We soon started noticing changes in his behavior, increased self confidence and he started showing more responsibility. He now goes to all spring break and summer camps (actually begs to go) as well as takes martial arts classes. We trust all of the staff here so much our other son who just turned 5 now attends and also loves it. This summer will be his first summer camp and he is pumped! These guys feel like family, for sure treat us that way, and I’m beyond impressed with their handling of various typical situations between children. If you’re looking for after school, physical activity or just camps for your kids I would highly suggest seeing if they have a spot for you! You won’t regret it!

There's not a lot of people or places we will trust with our children, especially with them in Cedar Park and often looking different than others here (they're mixed and look black). He now goes to all spring break and summer camps (actually begs to go) as well as takes martial arts classes. Even on days when he doesn't want to go school (you know those days) he ends up coming home happy and talking about his good day at Peak. These guys feel like family, for sure treat us that way, and I'm beyond impressed with their handling of various typical situations between children. Their focus on academics is also amazing! By the time he comes home his homework is done and most of the time he's started some other type of project or art creation. If you're looking for after school, physical activity or just camps for your kids I would highly suggest seeing if they have a spot for you! You won't regret it!

RESPONSE TO OWNER :If you are going to try and put down my right to have an opinion, please provide all of the information, not just the part that makes you look and feel superior. If I recall correctly I did communicate with you, via text messages, which I still have, letting you know that I had had a death in my family and my daughter was critically ill due to COVID so unfortunately, Extracurricular activities were not a priority for my family at the time, and that is why I stopped your payment! Definitely was not going to pay for a program my children were not going to attend in the middle of our family turmoil! Does that make sense to anyone? I also informed you that due to my daughters illness I didn't have much free time, and I would bring back the kids gear when I had a free minute in my demanding schedule. Did you or did you not get the supplies back undamaged and still wrapped? Even after your heartless comments about my integrity and calling the authorities because I was not moving at the speed you wanted me to. Seems like you saw a young black mother and thought the worst. Smh doesn't surprise me in such an Underverse environment!

We came to Peak Performance from another Martial Arts experience and my son LOVES IT! He's always looking forward to class. They have many layers to their training not just martial arts. I love their weekly checklist to help mold my son with chores, homework and discipline. Very happy we found y'all

Continued to charge me even though I cancelled within the first 30 days. Did not honor their "Iron Clad 100% money back guarantee" that is posted all over their website. Would not recommend this place to anyone. There are better places out there.

You'll see mixed reviews because this is not your typical after school program. Extracurricular activities are included whether it be Tang Soo Do class or BJJ whether it be summer camp bowling or swimming excursions. My child loved the New Year's Eve lock in. Many of the staff are male which you won't find at typical programs. My child benefits from strong structure and strong male role models. Certified teacher on site oversees after school homework. What parent doesn't love coming home to quality time with kids instead of homework drills? Applying is a process in which you choose what areas of development your child needs. That can be in physical strength or strength of character. Building good habits is in the mix too with homework sheets for things like remembering chores and reading to respectful conduct and practicing lessons. Quarterly testing for martial arts performance is optional. And if your child is struggling in school they'll rally with the village. The staff are an extension of our family. The mixed reviews comes is in the tactics. Choices have consequences. This can be a hard transition for some kids but it smooths out once they get the routine down. For example: if my child is having a rough day he might have to run some laps or do some pushups. Exercising to get frustrations and stress out works for kids like it does for adults. The staff are no nonsense people but recognize the difference in a kid having a rough day, kids being kids, and a kid having a bad attitude. We've been with PPTC for well over a year and truly appreciate Master Schill taking a vested interest in my son's academics even joining me at a school meeting recently. When my child needs to reign in attitude Master Schill and his booming baritone voice is there. When my child needs back up or encouragement Master Schill is there. I've heard him saying at several promotions kids develop at different rates what's important is they're still developing and they are trying their best. He's hands on and his staff love building relationships too.

Top notch staff and facility. Incredible staff throughout. Has helped my family immensely with focus and self discipline more than any other activity in our lives including school. Very professional and whole family and village mentality. Unequaled experience in and out of the facility. Genuine and sincere concern for each and every individual involved in their programs.

Peak Performance has been a blessing in our family. Master Schill has a tremendous ability to instill discipline and respect in the children and the adults. From day one, we were inspired by how well he can connect with his students. I have and will continue to refer Peak Performance to any parents looking for a fun, safe, and educational after school program. 5 stars is a vast under-rating.
