Beautiful space on the inside! Each stylist has their own room they rent out. This review is specifically for Marie.
Marie is such a fun stylist to work with. She gave me exactly what I wanted and shared some pro tips when it comes to how to care for my hair. Currently, my only experience is getting a haircut but I'll update this review later when I have her add dimensional balayage to my hair!

Amazing atmosphere and a beautiful inside space. I see Marie and she is truly an artist in her craft! Well within reason pricing and great conversation! I have blonde hair and very fragile but is always much more mangable and healthy after seeing her. Marie takes her time to make sure every detail is precise.

I went to see Chelsea a few weeks ago, and I was very disappointed in the result. It seemed like she didn't listen to anything I said when discussing the cut/color I wanted. While she was a good conversationalist and quite nice, I would never go back to Chelsea again. I requested a medium length, lightly-layered cut with some auburn highlights; I even showed her several pictures of the desired result! We discussed how I wanted it to be low maintenance, subtle, and able to grow out well. I was playing around with the idea of donating my hair, and asked her what my hair would look like if we took 8 inches off. She braided it, and asked if I would want to do a "teensy" bit more than 8 so my donation wouldn't be rejected. When I said sure, she just started cutting! I was surprised that she started so abruptly, citing that she was a "go-for-it kind of gal", and I felt that I didn't give my express consent to go ahead with a pretty major cut. She then gave me some very dramatic layers that seem blocky when I straighten my hair now. My hair ended up so, so much shorter than I'd ever have wanted to go. To top that all off, the subtle reddish-hued highlights I asked for ended up a horrid, brassy blonde color. They were very concentrated, close to my scalp, and looked tacky. When I got home, I found out that not only did she spill toner on my sweatshirt, but she cut off 12.5 inches of my hair!!! Between the short style, the intense layering, and the unnaturally stark highlights, I couldn't have been more disappointed. I feel like what I wanted didn't matter, and I hate the way my hair looks now. If you do go to Chelsea, make it EXPLICITLY clear what you're looking for.
