I’m very disappointed with the poor customer service. I walked in with my mother only to be greeted by a depressed hello. The vibe was just so eerie and the workers gave me looks and didn’t even apologize when they ran into me. I don’t understand, me and my mother were so kind and compliant but after these encounters it just killed the mood of excitement. I get that your staff consists of teens but even my 5 year old sister has better common courtesy than some of the staff (I’ll leave out the one guy with the mask because he was very sweet and helped me check out!). Otherwise I would suggest everyone to go across to “2nd Street” which is way friendlier and has WAY better selection of items!

Super cool place! Me and my friends found great brand name finds. Things were reasonably priced and staff was super helpful

The staff is really nice, there's an older lady worker there who is just the sweetest. But definitely not a good selection of clothes. They have a lot of cheaper brands but it is priced accordingly so that's fine. It is super disorganized in here tho. I definitely prefer uptown cheapskate or crossroads trading as far as buy, sell, trade store go

Walked in and waited by the desk, in line for about 10 minutes, as an employee was standing there folding clothes behind the desk not even acknowledging whatsoever that we were waiting in line for help. Wouldn’t be the first time at this “business”. Ended up just turning around and walking out. ??

Have come here multiple times with my partner to sell clothes which we are getting rid of and have always felt like the experience was fair. They choose clothes carefully based on what they believe they can resell and give you a little bit of extra cash in your pocket for clothes that you would have otherwise potentially donated and got no money in return for. All of the left over clothing you can take with you afterwards and donate. It’s a win win. Also, they have some great women’s clothing that’s reasonably priced which you might find while waiting for your clothes to be sorted through. The only downside to this experience is that you have to wait in the store while your clothes are being sorted. I get this from a business model perspective (i.e. force people to spend 30-60 minutes in the store looking at your inventory while they’re selling their clothes and they’ll probably find something they like), but it really is a drag after you’ve looked through the whole store after 30 minutes. Would be nice to pay a $10 fee or something to be able to go and enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant or something while we wait instead.

I sold my first batch of items at Plato's Closet earlier this week and had a great experience doing so.I called in ahead of time to make sure they were accepting donations. Staff were very kind over the phone and in-person. I had a large bin and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They did not take all of my items, but I was provided a reasonable offer for 9 items.Based on other reviews, this place is what you make of it. I had clothes that I found were still valuable enough to attempt to sell, but knew they weren't necessarily high end or in super high demand. If you have newer/higher end/designer items, you will probably do better selling items on your own via Marketplace or other online retailers. If you have items you aren't using and want to see if you can get a buck out of them before donating or getting rid of them, I highly recommend this place.

Love this place yet when i came in today to sell clothes a very high attitude employee told me to leave with my bag because there were too many and she didn’t want to sort through mine. (She had also mentioned how they close down the sell part of the store at 4-5 depending on how many people came in with clothes) it was 3:40. I’m disappointed and will not be returning as a buyer nor seller.

Went in for an impromptu drop off. The staff were kind, it took them ~5 minutes to go through the basket, and they offered $40 for 6 items. Also, they have an amazing athleisure section! I will be back.

Brought some clothes in I had taken over to 2nd street, 2nd street offered me $4 for for 20 shirts 6 of those being high end Robert Graham shirts... platos closet offered me 10x the amount for only 13 of the shirts I brought in! Platos is awesome when it comes to making it feel like we are both winning! (:

Called ahead of time to see what they were accepting. I was happy to hear they always need jeans and so I brought in a single tub with jeans, jackets, gym clothes. Didn't take anything but 3 gym tops. I totally understand If they don't need items but why say on the phone you need these specific items that were in practically new and not take any of them. Yes, they were higher end brands like AE & Hollister. The store is fairly clean and staff was quick and friendly. Would come back to shop but wouldn't waste my time to try and sell here again.

I dropped off a big bag of nice clothes. They told be it would take an hour so I leave & come back just for them to tell me It was worn out or outdated. Mind you all my items were like new from Fashion Nova or Forever21. I come home and look through the bag & realize everything was still folded & organized the way I put them before I dropped it off. They lied to me & didn’t go through my bag at all!!! I will never go back again & waste my time! I don’t recommend this store!!!

I highly recommend plato's closet cedarpark to buy & sell brand-name clothes. They have the most friendly staff & they are attentive to their customers. They are fair on buyers. Thanks to Eric, Lauren & Lana.
