I love Dr. Will and all the support staff at Parmer Lane Pet Hospital. My dog just turned one year old and we have been bringing him there since he was 8 weeks old. They've seen my dog sick multiple times and there is always a follow up phone call in which they ask the status of the dog, and ask you if you have questions or concerns. What I like most about this practice is they never rush you through an appt. They allow you ample time to voice concerns and ask questions. Dr. Will is particularly knowledgeable and is always genuinely happy to see our dog thriving.

Dr. Will was very dismissive to anything I had to say and would barely let me finish my sentences. I have had my dog with his illness longer than she has been a vet so I am very educated on what to watch for. She acted as if I knew nothing and had no idea of my background with animals and medicine nor did she ask. She only knows what she treats on a regular basis and just assumes every animal has the same issue. If your dog has Addison's disease, please check out the Addison Dog Facebook page and do not go to her for treatment. That page is peer reviewed and they have saved many dogs lives.

I rarely review any place but I cannot believe that any vet would make a pet suffer like this. I called in a prescription medication to People's Pharmacy today. They said they would contact Parmer Lane since the medicine was out of refills. Parmer Lane called me at 7:11pm to leave a message that they were denying the refill because my cat had not been in to see them lately. It is not like they could get him in for an appointment tomorrow (Saturday) or even next week. It usually takes at least two weeks to get an appointment. So why not at least approve one refill or partial refill to hold him over until they can see him? I will be out of town until the 20th and needed the medication for my pet sitter to give him. My cat has hypothyroidism and needs his medication but Parmer Lane is heartless, not even offering a little to get him by until they can see him again.

Incident #1 Pathetic experience with manager "Angelica". I get my dog's medicines filled from Costco, because of the big difference in cost between the Vet's office and Costco. The previous time they were filled, medicines were approved by the Vet's office for the wrong weight of the dog. The doctor found out the error and apologized and made this right by not only asking us to come in and get the correct medicines because of their error, but also mentioned that this will be corrected. Such a courteous doctor, and I was impressed with the actions the doctor took voluntarily. Months later, I request a refill from Costco again another time. Costco sends the prescription to the Vet for approval (remember that Costco does not fill medications until they receive the approval from the Vet). Gets approved by the hospital and Costco fills medication. Problem is, hospital AGAIN FAILED to correct the weight and approved the medication for the wrong weight for the SECOND time. When I call the Vet's office, the manager Angelica shows nothing but callous attitude and does not even acknowledge her office's mistake. She fights me saying it was my error that I didn't check the weight on the prescription, when I have no communication and visibility to the prescription and what goes on between Costco and Vet about the prescription and approvals. Then she claims dogs fluctuate in weight and they "assumed" the dog's weight changed. So much for "ASSUMING" being a Vet hospital. She then accuses me of telling the weight of the dog to Costco manually and giving the wrong weight. I called Costco because I wanted to hear from them, and because I wanted to ensure Costco or I didn't mess this up, and so I know I'm asking for what's right. Costco mentioned they NEVER take the weight of the dog or the details of the prescription from the customer - ALWAYS from the vet. They stated the obvious - THAT'S THE WHOLE FREAKING REASON THE APPROVALS FROM VET EXIST AND ARE A MUST BEFORE COSTCO FILLS MEDICATION. When I stood my ground and explained TO "ANGELICA" how obvious their error is, and for the SECOND time that too, this arrogant manager after fighting me and failing to acknowledge error, then talks as though she's doing me a favor by now agreeing to give me the medicine. And goes on this rant about how every prescription now needs to be sent by her office and she won't have her office approve anything without seeing the dog. EXACTLY - had she done that, and had her office looked BEFORE APPROVING carelessly - this situation wouldn't have manifested. This ridiculous manager not only needs to know how to talk, but also how to do her job and educate her office. On top of that, she accuses Costco of selling random unapproved medicines from third party that may not be safe, insisting that the medicine needs to be bought from her office. Just look at where she takes this conversation. Complete absolution of responsibilities and total lack of common sense. Incident #2 Now the cherry. I took my dog in for a visit after this incident since I've never had issues with the doctor. The doctor finishes the visit and mentions that someone will be with me right away to check us out. TEN minutes pass, nobody shows up. Dog's showing nervousness now by barking with the sounds of constant closing and opening of doors surrounding our room. I call the front office, sitting in the consultation room. Yes from the consultation room. Someone picks up and says "oh so sorry, we will be right with you". ANOTHER TEN minutes pass, literally. I hear people being checked in, and all conversations in the hallway both in the receiving area and the back office - but nobody still comes to check me out. My dog's super nervous now with all the continuous sounds by this time and begins barking. Nobody shows up still. I then peek out from the back door looking for someone - I see a lady just checking and arranging things in the hallway, and call out for help. Th

We have been taking our sweet Molly here for a while and are always pleased, whether it's for a regular checkup or bath/grooming. The staff is so friendly and helpful and answer any questions I may have. They go above and beyond, no matter the situation. If there's ever an issue while Molly is there, they always call with the details to keep us informed. They are on top of it! I highly recommend!

I've had great experiences here and trust them with my pets. In particular I've been taking my two cats to Parmer Lane since they were tiny kittens. When I got them from their foster, they were incredibly unhealthy and soon got dangerously ill. With above-and-beyond help from Erin the vet tech there, after nearly dying from a virus, they are incredibly healthy 4-year-old sweeties. I always recommend this clinic to my friends. Their impeccable veterinary knowledge, comfortable and clean office, and excellent office management make them my trusted go-to for my babies.

Awesome place to bring your beloved pets. I brought my husky and they took care of her right away. Very professional. Don't listen to Breann and her California friends about giving the wrong pet. It was an accident and both pets looked identical, just showered and had no collars. It's a human error. It happens and nothing came of this situation. It was corrected asap! And she did not yell or raise a hassle. I know, I was there to pick up some greenies. Breann is a total drama queen and should be ashamed of herself for spreading lies to an awesome Pet hospital. Crystal happens to be the most nicest and honest person at that hospital and does not deserve the disrespect from these entitled grown women with child mentalities.

I AM FUMING I went to pick up Ebony and I told them they were giving me the wrong dog. When they take that dog back, my heart sank and I knew this was NOT OK. They took forever and I had to ask the front to figure out what in the world is going on and is my dog even here?! Then they come out to tell me they confirmed someone else was given Ebony and is coming back with her! I LOST IT! I have never yelled at anyone in a business entity in my entire life! They had the audacity to try and reassure me by telling me that the person who has her said she is doing good and seems to be OK. So I am supposed to feel reassured that my dog is with someone who didn't even know they had the wrong dog?! I know my dog is a good dog! And no sh!t she seemed fine! She is on medication that sedates her! Even if she was worried you wouldn't even know it. I left her in the hands of a VETERINARIAN office and they can't even keep the animals identified??? The staff thought it was cute to call them twins. NO, my dog is taller, more slender, a skinny face, a bump on her head, a fluffy tail, and long hair- unlike the other dog! Even better, the dog they tried to give me had on the collar of a woman's dog, who had literally just left and was asking for that collar and they said they couldn't find it. HA! Imagine surgical procedures Were done or something of the likes? Could've been deadly! I will NEVER return and will warn everyone to stay AWAY!

Went there as it closes to my home and my fur babies got assigned Dr. Watson. She's amazingly knowledgeable, caring, professional and kind. She remembers each of my pets personally and is kind and gentle with them. She deeply cares about my fur babies and respects my opinions on asking me questions about my fur babies and suggest the best treatments or medication that can help my fur babies. Thank you Dr. Watson and many hugs from all of us.

New to the area, our old cat developed what sounds like serious breathing issues. Gave them a call, got an appointment, went, they took a history, examined our cat, ram some test, upper respatory infection, men's prescribed, all involved from front desk, assistants and vet all were great and worked well together and care for our cat. She is doing better now!

I take my three cats here. The vets and vet techs are great. It is a little busy, but worth the wait. They are great at keeping scheduled appointments.

I had a sick cat. I have a mobile vet I normally use and they are closed on Sat. I called parmer lane as it is close to my house. They had no openings but said come on in by 10 and we will work you in. I got there and was in the room inn10 minutes. They checked out my baby and gave her fluids and meds. Hopefully she will be better by tomorrow but I am so thankful they were willing to help me and Katie. I truly appreciate the staff for their compassion and willingness to help me. Thanks a million to you all

I had to take the time to make a yelp profile just to leave this bad review. After all the Vets we have went through over the year, we had confidence in this one based on the reviews. Even after steller marks, this Vet Hospital let us down on many occurrences with too many Dr's passing the buck and overlapping one another. From unneeded shots to not returning our phone calls and giving us attitude in person when confronted regarding errors they made - what a horrible experience. We paid for tests ( Bloodwork & Ultrasounds ) that came back with bad news with our little elderly dog......but we never were informed of any of the results on multiple occasions so we could correct anything with her health! All they did is swipe our credit card and make excuses for what they failed to do ( a simple callback for services rendered explained the results of expensive tests we paid for). They never offered at the least to make this right financially to keep us as patient. Dr. Watson's response was that we have hundreds of satisfied clients, this really won't hurt our overall standing - so see ya later. For the public to hear, I have the entire final visit audio recorded as well as various voicemails from the office manager that I will be releasing on my YouTube Podcast channel as a recap of the situation. Here it is .In my opinion, I could not be more turned off by Dr. Watson as an individual let alone as a vet. My best advice is to really research vets the next time you decide to entrust a place like this with proper care of your pet. Good reviews on yelp do not give an accurate picture of this business. They failed us and we fired them on the spot. *ON 10/18/21 SOMEONE CLAIMING TO BE THE OWNER LEFT A RESPONSE. ITS LAUGHABLE AND IN HIS COMMENT YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE BLAME BEING PUT SQUARELY ON US FOR ACTIONS THEY FAILED TO PERFORM. THIS BACKS UP THE ATTITUDE AND BUSINESS PRACTICES I MADE THE CLAIM TO ALREADY WITH THIS BUSINESS. HORRIBLE BEYOND HORRIBLE. IF YOU COULD JUST THROW PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE FUEL TO THE FIRE, THIS WOULD BE IT.
