I’m done with this location. I get that it’s the biggest chain but there are options and could your cashiers actually say more than ‘there you go’ and shove a receipt at you everytime you check out? I spend way too much each trip and would ‘thank you’ or eye contact or a smile be too much to ask? They have plenty of time to chatter with whoever is bagging groceries, so it’s not a matter of being too busy. Yikes.

This HEB is unique among HEBs. It is known for its very well stocked garden area.

Everyone is so friendly and everything is so fresh. I love HEB. This convenient location makes it extra easy to get in, get what you want and then get out in a hurry. The fresh Mayo tortillas to the extra friendly staff at the seafood section, makes my weekly visit to the grocery store enjoyable.

I'm almost positive they put all the miserable employees with the WORST customer service skills in the deli area lol. It's awful. You never know if you're going to be greeted with a friendly face or a women that hates ur existence ? carol is one I've dealt with MANY times. I've learned to just laugh about it now because management doesn't do much if you do complain. So enjoy the eye rolling, harsh tone and annoyed energy. I avoid this location when I can but some days, like today, it's more convenient. I came for a simple 1/2 lb cut of meat, Carol mumbles something about her coworkers obviously not doing their job so she had to take my order lol.. She weighed OVER the amount I requested(HEB standard) I politely asked her to get as close or UNDER the weight. She says, oh I'm sorry I don't have the exact science down lol..... I was like, whatever u can weigh out CLOSE or UNDER... JUST NOT OVER is absolutely fine. She tosses the bag on counter and walks away.... This is nothing new. No I don't know her. I've never been rude. Usually I smile or laugh hoping to break the tension but unfortunately, she's working with a few others JUST like her. There's a young black woman that I see sometimes and she's just super sweet! HEB needs her to train these other deli workers.. seriously
** Wanted to add a positive review for the bakery!!!! Alissa(spelling might be wrong) very helpful and went out of her way to help me narrow down a better time to shop for the warm bread we love❤️. Should could've just said sorry it's not available right now. But instead she gave me a better option on timing my shopping experience. I wish they deli was just a quarter this helpful lol. Honestly the bakery crew at this location is always super helpful and kind..same with the seafood section!

Ok I have been coming to this HEB for years but it is just getting worse and worse. I just read other reviews about the bad expiration dates on products. And I have to confirm just today I bought 5 yogurts of Siggis. Those are quite expensive. And home, I realized I should of check them in store but didn't... One of them is 2 days EXPIRED and two of them expiring in next 2 days. The last two in 4 days... that is really short time. And I have been wondering without even realizing why every time I want yogurt from my fridge its often expired even I go shopping to this HEB two times a week and eat all the yogurts quickly. Also not even talking about the fruits and vegetables. They are very often rotten. Often I'm ordering curbside from this location and many times I order something and it is just removed from my cart without even notifying me. Also they giving me visibly rotten apples or other fruits from curbside too. I guess those people picking the food don't even look at it. It's sad. Because I like HEB as a store. A few years ago , I read there are plans to reconstruct this HEB location and renew it. It's super old and small for grocery store.... But the reconstruction never came, and only what they did that they completely moved all the shelfs and made each hall way tinier so they could add more stuff. But now people can hardly go around each other with carts. The whole store became super crowdy and extremely confusing to find anything. The carts are also very old. I'm not sure why this HEB never got the new look. What I heard its one of the oldest ones... I'm honestly thinking of going to shop regularly elsewhere..
