Dr. Segu is i extremely thorough. He is detailed in asking you questions about your medical history. . He was patient friendly and did not make me feel as if he was rushing me. He spoke to me about my situation and listened tentatively to my responses. He appeared to be very factual in his responses to my questions. I would definitely refer people. I traced over an hour to get to him and he was well worth the drive.

So recently transfer from an internal doctor that left to another doctor here. I was prescribed one medication for 6 months prior to my former doctor leaving. Pegu, the new incompetent doctor, mentioned that we will put my on the pump after labs, I agree. I attempt to refill all my prescriptions and the new doctor wants labs done. I did do the labs, however they werent accessible yet. This doctor is manipulative and childish. It's frustrating that he doesnt trust the former doctor and wants labs to validate the decision of the new drug. This causes someone like me to now have to go off and on medications cause this doctor has some very different philosophy. Cool. Good for you. But Ive been on it for 6 months and it's helped my diabetes tremendously. So, since he wants to act on data and doesnt trust his colleague. I can do the same. Where's your study and your data to make the decisions, doctor? My data? Oh Ive been on it six months, living with it. I guess you dont care though. Ridiculous.

Terrible business practices. They milk every patient for every penny they have. $20 for each prior auth (which is very common for specialists). $50 if you have to cancel an appointment less than 48 hours ahead of time, but they only send a reminder 24 hours before. $30 on top of your standard appointment to look at your pump/meter data. But they know that their patient's lives are on the line, and they can't really say 'no' and have to cough up the cash. Even if the doctors are decent and kind, the system there is so awful it's not worth it.

Nobody answers phone calls, tried to schedule appointment couple times and roadblocks such as “we need referral” when my plan is open access. Even explained that I was not well, I felt administrative staff couldn’t care less. Base on this interaction, I would not recommend this office. The reason of your business is the customer, when we should be treated accordingly.

Dr. Segu is a gem! Only one visit with him and I know I can trust this doctor to diagnose me properly. After 3 years of struggling to find a doctor to listen to my complaints, I am so thankful to find one who is so thorough and detailed. He is very compassionate and you can definitely feel that his goal is to get to the core problem based on your symptoms and help you heal! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Segu and I guarantee you will be in great hands!

On my first Visit to Dr. Segu, I am impressed by the efficiency of the office staff. Very pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Segu was very pleasant, efficient and focused on my problems. It appears that he wants to get to thee root of my problem, which I appreciate. I think this I rare. Most physicians just blow off my issues because I am elderly. Growing old is not for sissy's.

Doctor Segu has been great in his approach to treat. He clearly explains and illustrates what’s going on and it’s impacts, then advises precautions and treatment if needed. He is very friendly and reliable. Importantly, he listens !

Good experience with Dr Lalani and staff. She is thorough and my first impression is that they run an efficient office. 30 minutes from sign in to walking out. I appreciate physicians that respect their patients time.

I have been struggling to find a good endocrinologist and have to say since moving to Texas back in 2019, this is the 1st time I found one!! Dr Lalani addressed all of my questions and was much more open to meeting me where I am at with my diabetes versus just telling me what to do. I’ve had diabetes for close to 29 years and it’s really difficult to find a doctor that listens and wants to hear what I have to say. I actually teared up when she was sincere in asking about my struggles and taking the time to listen to me. I highly recommend her compared to other endos in the area. Thank you so much!

My first visit was very good. The receptionist and the supporting team at the clinic were very professional and excellent social skills.Sometimes there is a sense that the non medical staff goes through the motions and do their job but do not have realInterest in the patient. That was not my experience in this practice. I was listened to and addressed in a respectful and positive manner. My requests and questioned answered kindly.Dr Lalani was very helpful, and again she took the time to address my concerns. Her demeanor was excellent and I felt confident in her care.I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. The pre-visit preparation also is tailored to be very efficient and helpful.I didn’t know that my primary care doctor doesn’t get images but only the reports. My advice to new patients is to go and get the images themselves and bring them to the visit or have the imaging center send them to this practice, otherwise the visit will not entirely fulfill all its purpose. This practice reminds us to bring the images I just believed that my PCP had them and sent them as well.Learning all the time how to navigate the system.

I do not recommend Dr Segu or Capital Endocrine & Diabetes.I have been a patient at this practice for several years but this year they started charging $20 to process refill re-authorizations on medication they had previously prescribed.Twenty dollars may not sound like a lot but when you have diabetes, kidney disease, and thyroid disease, the insurance, office visits, medications, procedures, and now service fees all add up.I contacted the office asking them to waive the fee but they refused.Dr Segu's matter of fact demeanor in a patient setting and putting profits over service solidifies an overall lack of compassion from my perspective.Medicine as a practice is also a business so I have decided to take my healthcare business elsewhere.I am very disappointed. Now I will have to find another specialist and start over which will delay the processing of a needed prescription. Oh well, time for a new doctor.

I'd give this place and everyone here more than 5 stars if I could. Everyone working here is so incredibly professional and helpful, and took the time to explain in detail anything I didn't understand. Dr. Segu specifically has outstanding bedside manner; he didn't keep me waiting long, was extremely polite, and was asking me detailed questions about my condition and also writing everything down. It felt really good to be listened to like that, and to have someone pay that much attention to my health. Afterwards, regarding my lab work, it had to be done in a very specific way in which my lab work has never had to be done before, so not only did Dr. Segu give me detailed instructions explaining the procedure AND what it was for/why I'm getting these tests done in the first place, he also gave me an instructional sheet lest I forget any of the details, and he went over the procedures with me again/had me repeat the instructions back to him before I left so that I could ensure the tests could be conducted properly. Multiple solutions were also offered to me regarding my condition, and Dr. Segu always spoke objectively about my health, but with an air of positivity. His mannerisms give me hope for my health in the future, that I *can* work towards getting better. 11/10, would recommend.

Wonderful experience with Capital Endocrine. Professional, courteous, easy completion of paperwork online, my doctor was amazing too. She listened to my needs, did her exam, consulted me on medications and conditions. I really found a great place for my diabetes.
