We are appreciative for the care and concern Finley received on the visit to Block House Creek Animal Hospital. Mostly we needed questions answered concerning his condition. They answered the questions and guilded us in a path forward in caring for Finley.

Had to bring my hen in for a major eye issue. The staff were very professional but made the visit feel homey. They treated my hen as if she was theirs. I am overjoyed that the visit and the procedure cost is reasonable and within my budget. Will definitely be coming back if there is any issue with my flock.

I’m writing this as a favor to other exotic animal owners looking for care for their loved ones. The vets may be experienced with cats and dogs, but they are poorly trained for exotics. My pet passed away because of them. I brought my pet in to be seen for potentially sprained leg. They took x-rays, didn’t find any broken bones and sent us home. A couple days later, my pet became lethargic, and developed labored breathing and a runny nose. Anyone without any training could tell this was some kind of upper respiratory tract infection. We brought him back for a follow up and their response was “Oh, he’s just old” Sent us home without any antibiotics. His condition got so bad we considered bringing him to an emergency hospital to put him down so he wouldn’t suffer anymore. Miraculously, he recovered after a difficult 2 weeks.
We vowed never to come back, but our pet got an eye infection a few months later and our normal vet was not available, so we had no choice but to bring him back to Block House. Anthony Franco was pushing for an xray. Really? For an eye infection? Obvious attempt at a cash grab. It took some convincing to tell them we just need antibiotic eye drops to which they eventually reluctantly prescribed. 2 days later, our pet developed pneumonia again, exact same symptoms the first time we brought him in. He did not recover and passed away one week later.
Block House has no experience taking care of exotic animals and they should not advertise that they do. And they have an obvious infection control problem that they need to deal with. My pet’s death is on them. We miss him so much, and we want to help save others from having to go through what we went through.

Frustration doesn't even begin to describe what your "hospital" caused. We tried discussing our matters at our appointments. They were ignored. Discussing now doesn't bring back my pet. I'm here now to warn others about the lack of experience and greed of your staff as also pointed out by other owners. I'm not looking for condolences. If you don't have anything genuine to say, then don't.

Block House helped us to travel internationally with our kitten to China. Dr. Rayl's team is very professional and offered great care to our kitten. He was very responsive during the whole process, and he tried his best to help us overcome many problems, some of them even out of his control. We are deeply grateful to his team and the Block House Hospital. Highly recommended!

My pup managed to grab a grape and we immediately called and were told to come right in. We did and were immediately seen and treatment administered. 10 minutes later we were on our way. So grateful for the care and concern we received! They treated it as the emergency it was and he is happy and well as a result.

$700 for “we don’t know” after a 30 minute appointment that included an exam and typical tests for my dog’s upset stomach. Never mentioned any costs to me until it was time to pay. I called my usual vet in CP they quoted me for LESS THAN HALF for the same exact invoice!!!!

Everyone at Block house creek animal hospital are friendly ,and professional .
They genuinely care for the health and well being of myfur baby.I drive past many clinics and travel more than an hour because I know Dr.Stacy will treat him as her own .I know she and her team are compassionate and responsible in caring for all their special clients .

We’ve seen a lot of vets in our time and this is by far the best we’ve ever been to. Very attentive to our concerns and very easy to communicate with. Dr. Curl and her team are amazing. Vet tech Emilee is the best!
