The worst experience of my life. Please save your money and time. This lady was very rude and unprofessional while working on my hair. I can’t believe she’s still in business. I wanted a Brazilian blowout, and instead did something else and by the way the treatment was not affective, the next day my hair was the same as usual. I cried that day because of the lack of respect to her customers and plus I’m very sensitive about my hair and she charged be over $120, like I said hair was the same the next day. CAN’T believe such a person could continue a business with such low quality of service.

She wouldn't return my calls or texts... I called Groupon, and they said they've had such an excessive amount of complaints about Babszis, that they will no longer allow her to use the Groupon site! (It takes A LOT, to get denied access, permanently!) This lady is rude, a thief, and irrational... She has ZERO integrity, and doesn't know what she's doing!! Don't trust her to do ANYTHING to your hair! Apparently, I was LUCKY... Because I've heard that the customers that stood up for themselves... Ended up with the wrong color, and her "missing" 30% of the hair, completely!! Just not worth ANY savings!! (However, GROUPON was VERY understanding, and QUICK, to refund my money!)

I got a Brazilian about 2 years ago. It turned out beautifully but I felt like she was trying to nickel and dime me. I wouldn't go back. About 4 months after my Brazilian my hair began falling out literally at the point where the Brazilian had been applied. It eventually got so bad that I shave my head. (20 inches of hair). I don't blame her for that though. I think It just didn't agree with me. I couldn't be happier with my very short hair though!

I had a Bazillion Blow out and I love it. Barbra looked at my hair and told me extra costs because of my long hair and I opted to get a hair cut as well because of my split ends. She was very friendly and welcoming. She would explain what she was doing as we went along and I appreciated that. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, but I am glad I went and I love my hair. Shoot, my husband loves my hair. It's never looked this good before, but then again I would go to Super cuts or some place like that LOL! Would definitely recommend.

Was looking for a place for hair since I'm in the military and got orders to Fort Hood a couple months ago. I wish I went elsewhere for my keratin treatment and hair cut. There was a booking error, and I had to wait 2 hours before she started on my hair. Ok, it happens... When she saw my hair she said she had to charge $70 extra dollars for my hair because it's long. I said I wanted a hair cut also so she said ok, and cut about 4.5 inches, so it was a little over shoulder length. Since I waited she said she would give me free hair cut. The treatment itself was great, my hair is nice and smooth but I told her I wanted layers but she cut my hair straight across and I hated it. There was no shape! She started cutting more hair to give some shape and it became shorter than what I wanted. I just wanted to go home at his point because I've been there for over 4 hours already. At the end she charged me Extra $75 dollars for my "length" for extra product when she cut off the length already before she even started! Two other stylists charged like $20-25 for extra product when I was living in Hawaii and San Antonio. I hate my hair but my hair was long and it was getting too hot so I'm just dealing with it. Will never come here ever again. Make sure you call to confirm appointment and make sure when you say you want layers you are on the same page on how you want it to look. I don't like the blunt straight across look but she cut it that way.

I had a Brazilian done by her and it turned out amazing!
Then I went home and slept wrong and messed up my ends. I went back and she happily fixed it for me and even gave me a hug. She is great!

I came in for a cut and color. I wanted a solid dark brown. My hair had highlights in it previously, but this wasn't anything challenging at all. While doing my hair Barbara kept conplaining about how hungry she was. Then proceeded to talk badly about a client she had. I sat quietly and just waited for my hair to be done. After Barbara did my hair, I was content with what I saw. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but I was OK with it. When she rang me up my total came to $262...she said a cut was $67 and starting price for the color was $165. Even though her starting price on the website for color was $55. Then she started complaining about how dey was my hair was so she had to use alot of toner which was another $30. I was infuriated about how she blantatly Lied to my face about the price and that my hair was dry because she told me how nice and soft my hair was before we started. Then I got home and straightened my hair only to find that there HUGE spots she did not color. I went back to have her fix it and she refused to accept any blame. She did fix it after all was said and done, but I would never recommend anyone to go see her. Very unprofessional and will rip you off if she gets the opportunity for crappy work. Save your money. Go some place else.

I came in for a cut and color. I wanted a solid dark brown. My hair had highlights in it previously, but this wasn't anything challenging at all. Barbara showed up over 30 minutes late. While doing my hair Barbara kept complaining about how hungry she was. At one point she left me with my hair in chair with my head in the sink to go eat a burger and came back 30 minutes later. Then proceeded to talk badly about a client to a friend of hers. Then she started complaining about how dry my hair was and saying my hair was very damaged. Even though she said the opposite when I first got there. Then I got home and straightened my hair only to find that there HUGE spots she did not color. I went back to have her fix it and she refused to accept any blame or responsibility. She said it was normal some spots to get missed. (Which is not true) I've never had someone miss spots this big in my life especially not for the rates she charged. She did fix it after all was said and done, but I would never recommend anyone to go see her. Very unprofessional and will rip you off if she gets the opportunity for sloppy work. Save your money. Good cut and can't beat the price. Needed a fixer after getting chopped at GC at Lakeline. Fast, Good cut, Great deal. A little hard to see as tucked back in the shopping center as you pull in from 183 going toward Lowes.

I decided it was time for a new haircut. Found a LivingSocial deal for Hair by Andrea because I thought she was in Round Rock....She moved to this Salon near Lakeline Mall, which was fine with me. It's super cute and everyone there is very friendly. They offer an array of services including manicures, facials, eyelashes, waxing. Andrea is very cool. I love hearing her speak Portuguese ;) Anyway, I showed her a haircut that I really liked - about shoulder-length with layers and bangs that are not too blunt - and she nailed it! Some other highlights (excuse the pun) was a deep conditioned treatment that sat on my head for 10 minutes and some delicious wine that helped me relax! She'll be my new hair stylist...I like her, the salon and her rates are affordable...Check her out!

I'm very happy that I found this place. 8 years spent in Los Angeles and I was never able to find a hair stylist as good as Barbara. I've been in Austin for 6 months now and I'd been avoiding doing anything to my hair because I was dreading trying out a new salon. Eventually my haircut had grown out and I was using the straightening iron every day frying my hair away. I took a chance in a groupon and ended up at Babszis. -Barbara was very communicative and extremely knowledgeable about what she was doing. She did a fantastic Brazilian blow out for an excellent price, probably the best in Austin for keratin treatment. She did such a good job that I went from using a straightening iron everyday to not even having to blow dry my hair. TLDR; very satisfied, would recommend.

This is the worst place ever. I had a groupon for a Brazilian Keratin treatment and I was so excited to treat my daughter for her 20th birthday before she returned to college summer of 2013. I accompanied her to the appointment and when she sat in the chair, the owner (I believe) started to touch her curly, coarse hair and pulling it out in disgust, saying things like, "Your hair is so fried, this is aweful, I need to put a conditioner in it first (for a steep price)" I refused and politely explained to her that she is an athlete and hair management is difficult. She went on and on in disgust. My daughter was about to cry. I told her again, that's why we were here and I even showed her beautiful pictures of my daughter's hair all styled so she would get off of the horrific remarks. I left for an hour while she was getting her treatment and upon my return the beautifcian said, "Sorry I had to do the conditioning treatment", I said, well I won't pay for that, I declined it. Then when we went to check out, she asked for a tip stating 25% was typical on the groupons. It was extremely awkward and my daughter was so upset. The process she did on her hair looked ok for about 30 minutes after we left salon, I, myself have had 2-3 keratin treatments/year for many years and have never had breakage, or anything less than silky, smooth locks. I am pretty sure since my daughters hair was burned and coming out in handfuls for a long time, keratin WAS NOT what she used on her hair. It has taken over a year to grow out and get healthy again. Her hair is short and we resorted to extensions for the time being. So much for a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. This place is a nightmare. Oh...and I have called several times to try and find out what product they used on her hair, to no avail.
