I have done my banking with Austin Telco for almost twenty years and the staff has always been the most helpful and kind group of people I have worked with in the financial field. I am grateful to have had such an experience.

I'm not one to post reviews. I think people should make their own decisions, however, this one is substantial. I lost my debit card on Friday- first time in my life to do that. We had a winter storm but temps were well above freezing. Around 1pm, I called the hotline to cancel my card. A heavily accented young man apologized for my loss and helped me cancel my card. He then transferred me to the number to re-issue my card, only to find the local switchboard was closed. No problem- my branch is .5 mi from my house. I get there to find the drive through AND the lobby were closed. It's Monday morning at 8:20. the local switchboard is closed (internet hours say it opens at 8) i have to be at an appointment an hour away. The recorded message on the bank's phone line said the drive through opens at 7:30. Guess what- it's closed. The front door has signs all over it, saying everything they cannot do. Lobby by appt only, storm is forcing closure of drive through, etc. I have no access to my funds at this time. I think I need a new bank.

-0 stars. Worst bank I've banked with. Someone stole my money. Proof and all. They had the nerve to say it was me. They stole $400 and they denied my claim. Crooks!! I've been with them for years. Not anymore.

I honestly couldn’t tell you about the location, I haven’t been in awhile. I normally use the app. The last month, it has been a complete mess. Been able to check my account maybe twice, otherwise it’s been down. It’s 2021, get it fixed.

The office hours have made it essentially impossible to take care of in person problems.I mobile deposited a check with them and they shorted me by $200. I have been calling trying to get it fixed but they are never open when normal people get off work. It is extremely frustrating.Their account management processes are a joke too. My husband and I both bank with telco and had our accounts linked together. Once linked, I can’t make changes to my own account without my husband’s signature, meaning we BOTH have to be free during their short window of business hours to come into a branch and sign a form.It is a shame because whenever I do get through to someone on the phone or back in the day when I used to be able to go into a branch everyone who works there is extremely polite and helpful. It just sucks that the window of availability is so small.

If you looking to get an auto loan through ATFCU do not buy the extended warranty. After two years of having the warranty I called the company to put in a clam, and was denied due to modifications that were already on my Jeep when I purchased the warranty. So after two years for a warranty I paid for that I would never have been able to use I was just told sorry there is nothing we can do. I can't get a refund, and I'm still fighting them to cancel the police so I can revive a partial refund.

Just encountered the rudest teller ever. I withdrew 400.00. She sent me 4 $100.00 bills, sent back 2 bills and asked for twenties. She said "really", I said "yes" she sent them back all crumbled up into a wad. Why does ATFCU suck so bad?

I am closing my account with this bank. I became homeless and no longer have a physical address to receive mail. They have been charging me $10 Everytime mail cannot be sent and refuse to remove the charges. They insist their policy is you must have a physical address. Theft from the poor and homeless. Pathetic. Do not open an an account with this bank, they act friendly at first but they are just as bad as the big banks like Wells Fargo.

Thinking about switching banks now cause they literally looked at me then looked right back away purposely ignoring me

Great bank. Free checking, really nice customer service folks, and great small business options. I am glad I checked them out and I remain a happy customer.
