Linh did an amazing job on what proved to be the difficult task of adding 2 slightly different shaped bands to my engagement ring! We had no idea that these differences existed when we purchased them (elsewhere) but now you would never even notice, thanks to Linh and her attention to detail and hard work! She was lovely to work with, very honest and fair in pricing, and is an expert in her field! My ring is so beautiful and I know it wasn't an easy job but she was hell bent on getting it perfect and just the way I envisioned it. We are so grateful to have found her and wholeheartedly recommend American Blue Diamonds and Linh Nguyen! Thank you!

Went to take my wedding ring after 9 years....lost stone, broke pronks, ect. From the time I entered the store, I felt much more than just any "customer". Owner took the immediate time to explain how she could repair and have back the same day! Very educated, affordable and much than just a selection. I will always return to American Blue Diamonds! Try them, you will not be disappointed!!!

Me and my fiancé went here just to have some fun and try on a few rings to see what style I would want. The lady running the place was so pushy, judgmental, and out of line! She was so focused on the sale, that she forgot about giving us a lasting experience. This was my first time in any ring store because I'm always afraid of pushy sales people, I got my worst nightmare. She pushed/ bullied my fiancé into signing up for financing because we didn't have the money yet....we told her from the get go, "we're just looking". Would not take no for answer. When I left my blood pressure was through the roof!

My intended and I went into this store on impulse because we're ready to buy his wedding bands but were unsure of his size. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though we were only there to try on bands. Yes, there is a small fee to try and not buy - HOWEVER - this process is much preferable to using ring sizers and trying to guess if the size is really right. The store stocks dozens of men's bands in a variety of sizes, so you end up knowing exactly what size is right based on band width, profile, and any other factor you can dream of. The men's bands were beautiful, and there was a wide variety of styles available (unlike the paltry men's section in many other jewelry stores). Thanks, again!

TL/DR; Linh Nguyen/ABD designed/printed/cast all three of our rings together once and forever, delivered a beautiful high quality engagement ring, made my wedding ring 70% heavier than designed, and charged me an additional $5000 for her overweight mistake. She choose profit over perfection. I found another jeweler to correct the mistake, remove 10g and learned the importance of a firm-fixed-price contract. “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and 5 minutes to destroy itâ€. -Warren Buffett I went to Linh Nguyen and American Blue Diamonds for a custom designed custom cast high quality 90% Platinum 10% Iridium alloy superior in density and melting point to common, cheaper, cobalt-alloyed ‘950' platinum. I sourced a perfectly grown medium blue Chatham sapphire and Linh Nguyen selected a wonderful pair of side set trillion diamonds. Huy Nguyen is exceptionally skilled ring designer who transformed our vision into reality by casting all three of our rings together once and forever. My loves' engagement ring and wedding band were within 20% of quote, but slightly larger for polishing tolerance. ‘Somehow' my ring was 70% heavier than quoted, 1.3mm thicker than quoted/requested. It was 3.9mm thick, not 2.6mm thick. It was 6.25mm wide, not 6.0mm wide. The 3D printer created them at the same time as instructed, but not as I was quoted. She requested $5000 more for the extra material/margin/time/labor in the overweight rings. I offered to pay for only the material cost at cost. We could not find a win-win business resolution for the mistake, Linh would not take responsibility, would not deliver quoted dimensions, and she chose to force additional profit from her mistake. She chose quality for the engagement ring, and extra profit from my simple round wedding ring. I felt sad, my love felt sad, and I knew another jeweler could correct these mistakes. I made the mistake of not co-signing a firm-fixed-price clause for the quoted rings. I made the mistake of not double-checking after a professional by using my own calliper to measure the millimeters of the 3D printed rings before casting. I admit my mistakes. I payed her the additional $5000 she requested and took the overweight ring to a different jeweler with a lathe to remove about 10g / 1.2mm from the outside of my ring and slim it to 6.00mm. If I did this again, I would still choose to cast 3 rings together once and forever with the highest quality 90%Pt 10%Ir, but I would find a new jeweler who also has an Indutherm inert vacuum induction furnace casting machine, a Digitalwax 3D printer, a skilled gem CAD artist, and would seal the deal with a firm fixed price contract. -ML

By far the nicest person I've ever met at a jewelry store! Linh, we believe is her name, she is very genuinely friendly and helpful.

Went in to get my engagement ring sized up, but my wedding band was also tight albeit wearable. Linh offered me a great deal to get both sized properly together and to have the shoddy previous band sizing on my engagement ring properly repaired, as well as having them nicely welded together. My rings have never fit or looked better. She was a lovely person to work with and very thorough in explaining exactly how she would fix and size my rings. They had everything done perfectly in just a few short days at the exact deadline she had quoted me for. Also so their custom jewelry is BEAUTIFUL. Crazy cool stuff I've never seen anywhere.

Long story short: actually, with quality workmanship and highly skilled crafting, there is no "long story short".. I bought a beautiful ritani ring setting, that was pre-owned online.. The reason I bought it online is because the ring itself is a discontinued setting, ritani said they could re-make the one that was discontinued but it would cost me $6000. So therefore I found one online, pre owned, and the center diamond was already removed. So being that Ritani is an extremely high end brand, I was convinced that I should only let an authorized Ritani dealer touch it. I figured they would have the best experience with the brand since they carried it in their store. The place i called was a pretty reputable place known as Russell Korman off Burnet Rd. I spoke with Chuck, the jeweler, he asked me to bring the ring in, and once he saw that I had a 1.5 ct loose diamond that i wanted installed into a setting that was meant for a 2ct setting, he said it couldn't be done. He was atleast honest enough to deny my request and tell me that it was a huge liability to touch it.. he said the only way it would work would be if u buy a 2ct diamond then the problem would be solved. Hmmmmm...yeah no thank you. A 1.5 ct is my max, and that's that. Anyways, back to the story, I took the diamond to American Blue Diamonds, along with the setting.. And Linh discussed with me tell that they would need to be extra-extra careful, and that it would take 3 days.. She said not only do they have to compress the setting to the center diamond, but they also have to tie everything in as well to protect and secure the surrounding diamonds. The setting has 6 prongs, each prong has tiny little diamonds on the prong itself, and also pebble sized diamonds in between each of those six prongs as well.. 3 days pass, and I pick up the ring. I was extremely happy with the results, Linh and her crew did an amazing job! ..so with that said, my review is not a diss towards Russell Kormans, but more like a simple Thank You. Because it led me to search elsewhere, and this review is to inform every consumer out there that wants professional, assured quality, without having to pay the mark up of a ridiculous price tag. Now, don't get me wrong, American Blue Diamonds is not the cheapest place, but they are definitely not the most expensive place either. I was happy with how I was treated, i was happy they were able to help, and I'm happy to reciprocate this review into the most wonderful experience I could have ever asked for. Thank you so much. I am eternally grateful. -A.Vega.

I was very hesitant to use American Blue Diamonds after reading the reviews online, but I am so glad I didn't let all of the negative reviews sway my initial judgement! Linh was absolutely fantastic. She communicated with me during the entire custom order process, with almost instantaneous updates when I asked for them. My ring arrived today and it is absolutely stunning! She was also able to negotiate the price of the ring, and I know after shopping around, that Linh gave me a fantastic price. When the ring designer messed up my order, Linh was quick to apologize for their mistake and even sent me a lovely gift from American Blue Diamonds, even though it was not their error. I would highly recommend Linh and American Blue Diamonds. I truly had an exceptional customer service experience with them!

Had a very delicate and thin band resized and loved it. I was a little rough on it and the shank broke. Linh repaired it, going the extra mile to make sure this wouldn't happen again, and I am very pleased with the results. Will defiantly be seeing them for my jewelry repair needs in the future.

Walked in simply check my ring size, clerk tells me in a very 'are you stupid' manner, "ugh we do, but there's a small fee.". To which I scoff, "ah, never mind." and turn around. Thinking over how stupid that policy was, the clerk breaks thought with, "You saw the business sign outside, were trying to run a business here, keep up with these costs.". I scoff again and exit the doors. Quality customer service and kind staff is not the way I'd describe this place. I recommend the piercing palace stand in lakeline over this business. the staff there at least treats you like you're a customer, buying something or not. On Nov 23rd, 2014, I took a ring that I received from my girlfriend as a gift into this shop and asked Linh to make it larger. She charged me $50 to stretch it from a 9 to a 10.25. I asked her to make it even larger because it was still tight. But, she told me that my finger was swollen and that it would be too loose after the swelling went away. So I put my ring aside and waited several days to let the swelling go away. When I put it on, it was still too small. I did not get a chance to go back immediately...and when I did return on Dec 31st, she said that I only had 7 days to come back for further adjustments. Worse yet, she said she would have to charge me another $25 because they "can't resize a ring every time someone puts on a few pounds". I tried to explain that it was her idea to undersize the ring in the first place, but she wouldn't even consider it. Given that this ring only cost $40 to begin with, I asked her to give me my ring back and told her that she would never see me again. My suggestion (if you need to resize a cheap ring), is to purchase this device for $20.
