We went in on 12/23 the last shopping day before Christmas to get last minute gift cards. Unfortunately the lines were wrapped around to the beer coolers. My wife inquired about the cards with the cashier who promptly rang us up without waiting. Thank you to Mejhan H. you made our day merry and bright.

I had a delivery that I paid $71.99 for and I wasn't able to receive it. Tried to get a refund issued but was denied twice even though the order wasn't completed. Even called to try to resolve the issue and was still denied any help or a refund. Never again.

Was looking for a unique bourbon that I can't get readily in Phoenix. Mark was very helpful and offered many suggestion & alternates, however nothing jumped out and said buy me & check a bag to go home. Will try again on next visit to the DFW area.

Normally I go to Total Wine & More but I was near Specs and decided to give them a try. I must say that the store was very organized! For my first time entering the establishment, I was easily able to find the wines and liquors I was looking for. Labels for each aisle are prominently displayed and workers are constantly walking around to see if they can offer assistance. There were also two sample tables set up near the front of the store so people could try new spirits. My only complaint from my experience is with the checkout staff. They were a bit immature and unprofessional. I was standing there with my cart waiting to checkout but the three people behind the register were just laughing and goofing around ... they didn't serve me. They saw me, but were more occupied with their own conversations. I waited patiently, but another customer spoke up and said "are you going to check her out (referring to me)"? The young lady then said, "oh yeah, my bad... come to this register ma'am" while still chuckling from whatever her and the other two employees were joking about. The three young people were not rude, but they were unprofessional. Overall, I give 4 out of 5 stars for my experience. The prices were reasonable, shopping was convenient, floor staff was exceptionally helpful, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to the check-out staff.

This is a nice store with a great selection. Stopped in about an hour before the first game of the World Series and the store was crowded but well stocked! Lines were long but moved quickly. Staff was friendly.

I came to get a bottle of Moet champagne that they keep in a locked case. I ask the first man with glasses which was extremely rude for help. He advised me I had to ask one of the cashiers to help. I went and ask a cashier and she said she couldn't help me. I asked another lady that was stocking if she could help me. She looked extremely annoyed that I was asking for help. After that encounter I went to another cashier who looked confused. She went to the man I originally ask for help and he gave her the bottle. I don't understand why I had to go through all of the back and forth.This was a horrible experience. I will stick with the Arlington location their customer service is 100 percent better.

UPDATE: Its good to see there is people that care about their job and the customer experience! Manager and district Manager are very good with customer service. This did not fall on deaf ears! Thank you Specs for taking care of this so fast and listening to what I had to say! Changed my star rating from 1 to 4 stars.I have been shopping at this spec's since it opened. Yesterday 9/28/23 6:13pm Went to a register that your manager was operating. She ask credit or debit? I said debit, tapped my card nothing. Second time tapped my card it wants my signature like its going through credit which you pay more. Ask her to void the sale and re-run the order. She says she can't very rudely and unprofessional. Told her I did not want to pay credit. She says she can refund the sale and re-run the order I told her no that takes several days and ties up my money. So finally tired of her loud bad attitude I just signed and ask for a manager. She says she is a manager. Smh I asked who her manager was she told me and rudely says "do what you got to do!" As I grabbed my purchase I said I will. While walking out she is still running her load mouth to the next customer about our dealings. This is one of the rudest managers I have ever seen! Must be hard to employee good people but there must be someone that has better customer service she is going to cause you the bottom line. This is the second time I have checked out with her and she just has a bad attitude! She is at best a bottom of the barrel employee. She needs anger management differently more training!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I went in looking for a specific liquor and a sweet older man was helping me.Apparently the employees aren't allowed to help the consumer as the manager Victoria came out and told the employee she needed him to do something else. I could tell he was embarrassed but excused himself politely.When I ask her, if she had anyone else that could help me, she rudely walked away saying no, they were all busy.. I walked out and purchased nothing! I will never be backPERIOD! I hope you Pay those employees well to put up with that kind of treatment. Awful awful awful management! I must say I’ve been to other Specs that I had fantastic experiences. Never returning to this one if any at all!

Was my first time shopping from here and do not plan on coming back anytime soon. Absolute worst experience i've encountered at a liquor store, today is my birthday and I came with my brother which he did not happen to have his ID on him due to him being 15. I was under no circumstances leaving my brother in the car by himself with these weather conditions so that's the only reason he had came in the store with me. However, I did have my identification carried on me and am legal of age, yet they refused to sell me right when I was already to check out. There was no reason to even bother asking him for his identification if he was clearly underage. It was just a whole bunch of my time being wasted shopping at this establishment. Would also like to add how disgusting the employee which reached out to us was an old man who's breath reeked like death. Came to Hill Town Liquor instead which was a much pleasant experience and recommend rather than Spec's. Now i see why no one comes here lol.

Okay for what they do. A lot of cars moving in and out @ fast speeds. Occassionally, people congregate around entrance / exit door.

It's a liquor store that used to be a Best Buy. Typical vibe of a liquor store just bigger. Usually one person in here is tweaking so mind your business. There may be one person walking around that won't be any help to you buying what you came in there to buy because they will always suggest something different and not be able to find what you asked for originally. But hey, it's better than most liquor stores in that you don't feel like you'll get robbed in it.

Hi there! I love shopping at your Specs Cedar Hill and to make it nicer, it would be great if you all could start carrying Beatbox & their newest flavor Hard Tea! It's my favorite and perfect for the summer and it would be great to be able to grab them on my next visit to you store!
