I was in town working when my wheel bearing started making noise. I took my car to Christian Brothers Automotive, as it was close to the hotel I was staying in. They wanted $100 to do a diagnostic and make sure that's what the problem was. So I let them. They came back with a quote of $880 to fix it and would not apply any of the $100 towards the repair. Back home was only $369. I went back to the hotel and started looking for other shops. I came across Hondarific and I am so thankful I did. Roger is a great guy and he really knows his stuff! His price was less than half of the other shop!! He got it done in a timely manner and I can't express how happy I am with the repair. I never leave reviews, but Roger is an exception. I highly recommend him! He really knows his stuff!

Roger saved my road trip. I can't thank him enough.
I am from Minnesota and drove my 2009 Honda Accord to the Dallas area to see friends and watch the 2024 eclipse. After the eclipse, I started on my way to the Austin area for more sight-seeing when my check engine light came on. I thought to myself "Well, there goes my road trip." I searched online and came across Hondarific Auto.
Roger, the proprietor, treated me exceptionally well. He accurately diagnosed the problem: my Honda Accord has a type of engine (VCM) that shuts off two cylinders when in "Eco" mode, which can cause other unforeseen issues in the engine. One common problem is that spark plugs in those two "Eco" cylinders wear down faster. He showed me how the spark plug that caused the check engine light to come on had blackened and needed to be replaced. He pointed me to the service bulletin Honda had posted for these types of engines, which supported his diagnosis. After the repairs were completed, Roger showed me the offending cylinder on the engine and even guided me through how best to change the spark plug myself.
I was almost a thousand miles from home, stranded with a check engine light and limited mechanical expertise of my own, and was relying on an unknown mechanic to fix me up. A different person may have taken advantage of my situation. But Roger treated me with honesty and integrity. He also went the extra mile and gave me the knowledge to fix the problem if it happened again.
Roger also assured me that I should continue my road trip, that the issue my engine had just meant changing the offending spark plugs more frequently. So, I did just that. I had a great road trip to New Mexico, Arizona, Southern California, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and back home. I checked off "see the Grand Canyon" and "visit the San Diego Zoo" off my bucket list. I had no more engine troubles with several thousand miles of driving. Again, I can't thank Roger enough and highly recommend taking your Honda to him.

WOW! My Odyssey has been making a noise for over 2 years and we have never been able to figure it out! We have taken it to many places! Roger to the Rescue! He seemed to know exactly what it was and so far so good! Would I recommend Hondarific to anyone? Absolutely without a doubt!

Hondarific is terrific! Roger is wonderful to work with! He is prompt in getting problems diagnosed and getting the work done. He is also very fair with his prices! He has worked on 3 different cars for me and has always done a magnificent job on them! I highly recommend Hondarific! He does work on other cars as well, so if you don't have a Honda, call him to see if he can work on your car. Most recently, he has worked on my Toyota and my Chevy.

Dont walk, RUN to Mr. Roger!
Period. Ive been going to him for my car for almost 2 years now and he not only fixes the problem but he explains it so you know whats going on, reasonably prices, and he knows exactly what he’a doing!!!
Nobody else can look at my car BUT Mr. Roger !!!

I was quoted a price of 450, he “fixed” things I didn’t not authorize, it went to 540. The items he “fixed” are still there, and worse. Now I’m having an oil problem I did not have before I brought it to him.He “prayed” for me. Then “preyed” on me. Now I have to take my car to the dealer “200” diagnostic fee to find out what is wrong. Fixing unauthorized items, is not cool. Get somebody else to do it.

If you intend to bring your car here I would recommend showing up with a detailed checklist. Get a Bluetooth OBDII reader, scan for error codes and check engine light issues, research the fixes and educate yourself on the parts cost and time needed for the repair.Roger seems to be able to fix most any issue, but his prices reflect that.

I don't normally write reviews but I had too for Mr. Rogers HE is now our family Mechanic ! he is Wonderful !! he is so busy but he worked me in his schedule and my car is running like new ! I recommend him ! and he's very Kind person to top ! Thank you Mr Rogers!!!
