Great Tae Kwon Do studio and after school program. Mr. and Mrs. Maples are hands on and fantastic role models. We feel lucky to have found such a great place for my daughter to meet friends and learn martial arts.

My son comes here. He started in April 2022. Placed second in state that same year in November. Fast forward to now, he is ranked number one in several divisions through martial arts competitions. Sensei maples is a very attentive, patient, and understanding instructor. He has guided my son, and never held him back. If your anywhere in the area I recommend you bring your child here. Hopefully it will be home to a state champion, and possibly national champion very soon....

Both Mr. and Mrs. Maples are amazing mentors and professionals. Could not be more pleased that my son spends his time with them after school. Sound instruction and guidance, as well as safe and fun environment.

If you’re looking for a wonderful activity for your 2-5 year old, I highly recommend the tiny tigers class at Maples Martial arts in Castroville. My 2.5 year old loves it and I’m so impressed with the patience and skill the instructor displays during class. They do a lot of work on gross motor skills and even include colors, numbers, shapes and learning left and right during drills. My son loves that they do lots of obstacle courses, and they just installed a rock wall. The martial arts they learn is very age appropriate, the instructor has very reasonable expectations, and is an excellent communicator with little ones. So happy we found this place!
