Hands down, the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. I almost don’t want to post a review because I love not having to wait for equipment, but they truly deserve a great review here. Matthew at the front desk is a delight and extremely helpful. The equipment is clean, bountiful, and well maintained. It smells nice, has all of the amenities you could want, plus more, and the music is also good. I plan on being a member here as long as they stay open.

This is a nice gym in a small town. Has new machines, and plenty of space. It's not easy to find modern equipment in small town gyms. They have a sauna, group fitness, free weights, and new machines.

I just bought a house a little outside Castroville & have been looking for a gym that offers group classes & doesn’t break the bank. After doing the 7 day trial, I signed up. I love this place so far, they have a great variety of gym equipment and group classes. Everything is clean and everyone I’ve met has been super friendly. I do wish they offered more class times in the afternoon, but this is a great gym nonetheless!

Excellent Gym. I'm also a member at Golds and have stopped going to Golds. Fitwell is friendly and very clean. They clean the equipment, floors, locker rooms etc. multiple times a day. Clientele all ages and a great gender split. About 50/50. Also diverse in other ways. A really nice vibe. Glad I joined. Nothing against Golds, I just like FitWell better.

Fitwell is a beautiful gym with a small town feel, BUT their Friday through Saturday hours are HORRIBLE. Please make sure their houtlrs fit your needs before paying the high price for your membership.

Was in the area visiting family for a week and decided to hit FitWell up for a day pass. About $8 per individual day, but they offered a week pass as well. I only needed it twice, so did day passes. Super clean gym, friendly staff, and all the right equipment. Very happy with my experience.

I tried this place for a while. It's not a bad gym. Unfortunately, my hours of working two jobs kept me from visiting often. I set up an automatic payment plan but for some reason they charged me the day prior to me getting paid. I informed them several times to change the date one day later. Every single time they promised they would. They never did. Each time they charged me they added a late fee. I would have stayed but their complete disregard to listen to me worried me. I canceled my service today. Yet they again charged me a late fee, and another fee I did not agree to. Plus the girl I talked to at the front said they would not charge me because I tried to fix the problem several times. She asked me to come back too at a later date to solve everything. Yet after I left I was charged everything she said I would not get charged.

I wanted to get healthy, and I am so glad I found this gym. From the group work outs, to the high quality workout equipment, the facility exceeded every expectation I had when trying out the free 7 day trial. The staff is friendly, the gym is clean and sanitized, and the showers are nice and clean. I joined the gym officially even before my trial was over. The convenience of hours and location has allowed me to start working out again. It's been life changing, and I am grateful.
