There's a couple of painted pallets used to as a sign that says "stop here for one of Linda's big juicy cheeseburgers and fries. Best thing in Clayton, Texas" it might also be the only thing in Clayton as well. But, after a day of trying pop and pop greasy spoons in rural west Texas, and all of them bland, this was both lives up to the sign and tastes like home. Albeit a home that never existed, but such a comfortable feeling inhaling the burger and the tamales. If you're heading from Shreveport to Houston, stop here. It's not sexy, close your eyes and think of something else if you need that, but it's got a bouquet. So there's more than one of the senses being enjoyed here.

Great place to get what you need in a hurry. Wonderful selection of great tasting food. Not only is the food delicious, it’s fresh and juicy….and most importantly filling. For sure you get your moneys worth. The beautiful owner/cook is also a plus!

Nice little country store. The have a grill and some of the best burgers you will ever eat.P.S.The staff is some of the most friendliest people you will ever encounter; I stop by just for the banter.Store has a new cook with lunch specials. Food into die for people.
