I love this store so much! A beautiful selection of fabrics and very knowledgable and helpful staff. Plus, I can use the excuse with my husband of "I have to go to the Post Office!" and he can't argue the point when I might come home with new fabric to add to my collection.

Beautiful fabric store. Lovely quilting selection. Nice assortment of notions. Easy to shop layout. Very helpful and friendly staff. I did signup for a workshop that ended up being cancelled which was disappointing BUT the coordinator handled the awkward cancelation graciously, quickly, and professionally. TOCS is a drive for me from Downtown Dallas but every trip has been worth it.

I was wanting fabric to start a quilt so was looking for a quilt store open on Sundays, since several are not open then, and found this one through a search. Drove out to Carrollton and as soon as I opened the door, I could tell I would be able to find what I was looking for. I am making a quilt for one of my nephews, and had specific colors and pattern types in mind. Being a guy, I wanted fabric that wasn't girly. The Old Craft Store did not disappoint!I prefer modern style quilts and fabrics and TOCS had plenty to fit the bill, although the saleswoman mentioned they were more of a traditional store. Fabric was organized by color, and there were a couple of rooms to meander through. It wasn't overwhelming, but still had a lot of options. I'll definitely go back when I'm shopping fabric.The salesperson was awesome! So friendly and helpful. She mentioned she's worked there for over 30 yrs, so definitely has knowledge. Other customers came in and she knew them. That is my kind of shop!Anyway....5 stars all the way for this gem.

I'm giving this store 2 stars because their fabric is fabulous, but their employees are not. Unfortunately, they are very rude, unwelcoming, and not helpful. I walked out of there with a headache because of my experience.

Always love coming to this shop. They have an old timey grocery store in the back that reminds me of going to my grannies. They have tons of great fabric in several rooms. They even have a post office in the shop!

Good quality fabric, this is my favorite place for solids. Their other fabric selection is decent, not great on batiks and they are definitely on the pricier side but it is good quality. Their classes are interesting and well priced. But my main issue is the limited hours. Unfortunately I typically end up having to go elsewhere because I can’t make their limited hours.

Not sure why I went here in the first place. I guess I thought they sold quilts since I saw quilts. They don't. They sell stuff to make quilts. Like I can piece together a quilt. Go figure. Back to Macy's.
