This IS NOT a rating on the employees. They’ve always been nice. This is a rating for spectrum as a whole company. They are full of lies, tricks and fail customers and employees constantly. The deals you think you are getting don’t exist. They’re always out of stock online and in store (again, not employees fault) so you can’t take advantage of the “customer only” deals. Customer service fails only because the systems the employees are given constantly fail. They never work!! I wish I hadn’t left Verizon. I am leaving this review everywhere, hopefully someone higher in the company sees this.

I called spectrum to switch phones on the same line and spectrum told me to go to the store to pick up a physical SIM card because with the new phone that I have, they can’t activate an E-SIM. Today, I went to that store and the person in charge didn’t want to give me the SIM card. He stated that what was happening is that spectrum main offices wanted to sell the activation it instead of them (the store). I didn’t understand this because the line was already activated and the only thing I needed was a physical SIM card to activate my new phone. The person told me that he needed to take the phone so he could activate it and so they could make the “sell.” I left the store and I called spectrum frustrated to file a complaint because the store didn’t give me the SIM card. The person on the line told me that they didn’t understand why this happened and that this was the first time something like this has happened, they didn’t understand why the person in the store couldn’t sell the activation if the line was already active. She also didn’t understand why the person in the store didn’t take the time to read the notes because everything was explained on there. Finally, I opted for them to just send me the SIM card through mail, but tomorrow I’m going to another spectrum store to see if they give me the SIM card or if they’re going to say the same thing the other person from the first store I went to said. If someone from the store wants to give me a good reason why they wouldn’t give me the SIM card, I’d be happy to change my review.. but so far, all I can see was that the person in the store didn’t bother to understand what I was asking for.

I had an issue with my modem and needed to see what my options to have it replaced. They were very informative and had great customer service! Thank you for helping me out on such a stressful day I had going on.

My husband went to change our plan and they didn’t have a working printer! So they couldn’t help us at all, In a business where this is something important they didn’t have it, what a waste of time going to this location and my time waiting there to be told “the printer doesn’t work we can’t do anything for you today”

The service is never genuine. Every time I've gone in there. They treat you like you don't know anything about anything, or we're lying,The only time they smile is if they greet you. They answer you as if thyre reading a screen expressions like robots.No personal interaction. If their computer doesn't let them. They can't. Not that they could possibly be incorrect or call SpectrumThe only thing easy is a payment or to drop off equipment.Maybe they get alot of scammers or something. It ruins it for those of us who might enjoy our time doing things , or discussing our account.I can do everything with Spectrum"10 Times easier" on the phone...And when the store couldn't help. I would call Spectrum in the store & explain or confirm if my interpretation or the store what/how/why. Just in case I was wrong or understood incorrectly.Because the store doesn't or can't access the phone call info...frustrating.Also employees need more training on which phone can't & can or are compatible or not...Some of these things might be Company problem/training/hiring etc.Not very personable employees. They don't make me want to come back.This is the closest store to me.Most of these complaints/comments are from different interactions with this store.If they didn't offer me such a good deal. I would definitely switch to ATT.So many Wifi outtages with Spectrum.Avoid the store. Much nicer customer service over the phone.

I had an appointment on Saturday 7:40pm, I did not feel welcome when I walked in and the guy seems like he did not want to work. I told him that I need to activate new phone and he just give me the business card and told me to do it myself. I also told him that I recently went to different spectrum store for same issue but the store representative did it for me and he still didn’t want to help. If I was going to do it myself why would I make an appointment for visit? He was unprofessional, lazy, and rude.

We recently decided to rent our home in Dallas Texas. Our service provider was Spectrum. Upon calling to cancel our internet and TV services, the employee talked us into placing the services on Vacation Hold for a month. Our home rented sooner than expected and we called Spectrum to cancel services as the tenants decided they would get their own service provider. We called spectrum to cancel, but the employee(s) job was to attempt to sell us additional plans, cell phone services, or a land-line service, which are not needed. Total time spent on my cell phone to get the service cancelled, 1:39, yes one hour and thirty-nine minutes. The Spectrum employee answer to my question as to why it took so long for a simple process of canceling services, "we're still having issues with the ESPN/other companies' issues, sorry for the long wait time. Ridiculous!!!!! The really should be a NEGATIVE STAR rating for some companies.

Left Spectrum internet and expected everything was handled. Never heard a word from Spectrum. A YEAR later, they turn me into collections for a bill they never sent. Dropped my credit rating 35 points. If you want people to pay a bill, send one! This company has no morals. There needs to be some competition among internet providers to drive the price down and the service up. Leaving a Yelp review requires a review to have a minimum of one star so Spectrum isn't really 1.5 out of 5, they are really half star out of 4.

Went to Spectrum to switch my phone over this morning. Eric was absolutely professional and friendly and made switching our phone service over a cake walk. Recommend going when they open. Not very busy at all.

Preface - this is not reflective of this specific store or the employee but rather the HORRIBLE service Spectrum gives to its customers in the Carrollton area.Our internet has not has ONE single day of consistent service from 7/14 to 7/19. And this isn’t even the first time of outages since we signed up in June. Outages every day and night. No explanation. We have seen the tiny, bent, tower that spectrum has been servicing on and off for months on Denton Rd. And it’s basically falling over into the road at this point. There is a clear reason the internet won’t stay on for more than 12 hours and it’s because they don’t invest in their own equipment or infrastructure.Do not - by ANY means - get Spectrum internet. Please go with Frontier. They actually provide the service that you pay for and don’t leave you stranded for hours - days, without service.Update - a bot reply to this review telling me how I need to go seek help and give feedback is not customer service. Do better. Or don’t and see customers in the area continue to leave.

Literally the worst internet service ever I’m in outages at least 3 times a week and I’ve also been in an outage for almost 2 days now and I work from home I lost my promotion with work because my internet kept knocking me out of my calls and got me written up DO NOT GET SPECTRUM ESPECIALLY IF YOU WORK FROM HOME IT WILL COST U YOUR JOB will not go back looking for other companies now
