I’ve been here for 2 years and I’m renewing my lease. Management and maintenance are always nice, professional, and responsive! There is never, and I mean NEVER, a delay when I need maintenance for an issue. They fix the issue and if it’s not fixed the first time they will come back to get it finished the next day. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, peaceful and absolutely safe. Management does not play around when it comes to following rules and sending out warnings/reminders to ensure property and tenants are safe!

This is a great place to live, but they change the "Community Guidelines" every 5 months. A year ago we were told we had to move our grills onto the patio because it was an "eye sore". So we did. Six months later we are in "violation" of their code. The City of Carrollton allows charcoal grill and propane on patios as long as there is a sprinkler system. We have sprinklers on our patio. The apartments responded that we are only allowed to "store" the grills on our patio. Here we are 5 months later, and now they are telling us we aren't allowed to store charcoal grills on the patio. It used to be a quiet and enjoyable place but now the office has made it impossible to follow all their rules 100% of the time, so they blow up your phones and emails with complaints. Almost to the point of harassment. On a lighter note, amazing and fast maintenance, great pools, grills work some of the time, and our rent has only gone up $300 in 8 years. Update: 1 year renewal went up 6.5% to $1941. But the whole area is bumping up the rent. This seems very reasonable. We recently had. A horrible experience due to the water line being damaged for the entire building. We've had maintenance in our apartment every week for a month to fix our faucet, ice maker, and water filter. The maintenance guys are amazing!!

To start the complex is beautiful and very well kept. I was super excited to apply here. I was only confused because the application process was a mess and anytime I would reach out to the complex, it would be a different employee every time so information kept getting miscommunicated.With the holidays there seems to have been a few delays with the application, honestly no big deal. But whenever the results came back, it said it was denied due to credit issues. Odd since I had just checked my credit and didn’t see anything but I checked again and checked for any sort of bill that may have gone to collections. Nothing. Checked with old complexes I’ve lived at, nothing. Got a copy of the screening report to find out it wasn’t a credit issue, but an income issue.Also odd since I did the math, but found out the apartment I had applied to jumped up $300 after I applied. That would do it. At this point, I was over the confusion. I sent the office 3 emails in regards to why I was being told two different answers and still have yet to get a reply. No reply on getting my refundable deposit back either.It’s a shame. This complex seems beautiful but there seems to be a very big communication issue. At least for me. Hoping to get some answers soon.

I put in a list of maintenance items on a Sunday. Two maintenance men showed up the very next day and completed all of the task in less than an hour. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I have lived in this community before a few years back. The maintenance crew has ALWAYS been exceptional. Lucky for me, they are just as amazing now as they were then.

Best apartments I have ever lived at. Reasonable prices, very professional front desk/maintenance staff.They respond to any complaint within a day, the complex is very quiet, and the neighbors are friendly.

I just renewed my lease for my 3rd year here. I absolutely love it here. It’s quiet, the main office is very responsive and maintenance is so quick and wonderful. I cannot imagine myself living anywhere else.

I lived here at Mansions at Sunset for a year and loved it! It’s so pleasant, peaceful and everyone in the community including front office is nice. I only moved because I wanted to be closer to work but I would highly recommend anyone to live here. Maintenance is top tier and responds very fast. Property is always clean which is a big deal for me. I’ll give 10 stars if I could!

I absolutely love living here. It’s been almost 14 yrs and I don’t have 1 complaint. When a work order is created it is always taken care immediately. The office staff especially (Lorena) have been very accommodating on any issues. I couldn’t think of living anywhere else.

Great property! Amazing floor plans. Quiet, and plenty of walking space around the property. Residents are all friendly and sociable. Leasing office staff is communicative, professional, responsive and thoughtful.

Maintenance at Mansions at Sunset Ridge is absolutely the best! They are very prompt, professional and super nice. I have lived here for almost 4 years and they have always been like this, very consistent. The staff is great, they keep us informed and updated. Always super nice when communicating. The complex is always clean!

Living at Mansions has been wonderful. We loved our apartment so much, that even after 2 years, we were reconsidering to buy. We did find a house and bought this summer, ending our lease. But I truly wanted to share that my husband and I have enjoyed living in this community so much. It’s clean, safe, has great neighbors, close to literally everything!, has very nice staff and amazing maintenance; not to mention the apartment itself which was beautiful and offered so much more (washer/dryer, 2 car garage, spacious apartments, added office/ built in desk) than most other places in the area for the price! In our opinion, Mansions at Sunset Ridge is the best apartment living in the DFW Metroplex hands down. If ever I need to live in an apartment again, it will be our choice home?.

Lived here for 5 years. This is a great place to live. Office staff are wonderful! Maintenance requests are completed within 24 hours. Property is clean and up to date.

I love living here. It’s mostly quiet, the property is well kept, and maintenance is super fast and efficient when it comes to work orders. The apartments are spacious and modern looking in comparison to other complexes. Just signed for my second lease term!

I love the spacious layout and how quickly maintenence responds. I am on my 3rd lease but I don't love how much the rent keeps going up. Also, I wish there was another way to enter the gate if you accidentally left your phone home.

I can see why it’s a waiting list her. My wife and I have been in this community for going on 2 years and we both love it. Safe, updated, with great amenities. Always clean and neat. Maintenance also do a outstanding job with a very quick response time. 5⭐️ Property for sure!
