Since this is a very long review, I wanted to add this at the beginning. You can not go wrong with Sandra and Innovation Upholstery. They are amazing! Now... if you are bored or just curious...... feel free to continue on to read the full story in short novel format below. ? ? ?
I did not think I would find anyone who could make the idea I had for my father's 83rd birthday come to fruition. But I sent a message describing my idea via the form on Innovation Upholstery's website. I received a response from Sandra almost immediately. She was amazing! She was happy to take on what for them I am sure, was a very small project. She was clear and upfront regarding the process, the cost, and the timeline. She stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process. She made sure I approved the embroidery proof (which was great b/c I realized that I had left in the copyright ©️ symbol in the clip art I had sent, I was able to get that corrected and then approved the 2nd proof). Since I came up with this idea with only 3 weeks until his birthday, I knew I was cutting it close. I also knew I would not be able to successfully "steal" his walker for a day or 2 to deliver the final product on the exact day. So Sandra arranged for me to pick up the piece of fabric, complete with the embroidery and I wrapped that to give him on his birthday. A few days later I took the fabric along with the walker to Innovation Upholstery and within a short amount of time I was able to deliver the final product to my dad yesterday. Seeing the fabric by itself was great but seeing the final product was JUST SO AMAZING! It looks SO great! So much better than I could have ever imagined! Please see attached pictures (and note the Iowa Hawkeyes t-shirt he is wearing along with the Hawkeyes throw blanket behind him on his chair. He is definitely alumni and a huge fan! ?)
It was such a special gift ? for my dad, something unique and unusual that he absolutely TREASURES! And I love the attached picture of him with the final product, that is a happy man! And he deserves it! I am so lucky to have been gifted such an amazing father, a wonderful, kind, honest, intelligent, moral man who taught me to be the person that I am today. I love you more than anything dad and I'm so happy you had a great birthday, with many more to come!
And again, I can not thank Sandra and Innovation Upholstery enough for doing such an amazing job, being so incredibly helpful and responsive. You helped make my dad's 83rd birthday so incredibly special!
If you ever need an upholstery job completed, this is where you should go, I wish I could give ten stars! ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

They did a fantastic job! They even added an extra component to make the furniture piece function more effectively, at no additional cost. Will use them again in the future for certain!

I recently had a couple of antique pieces of furniture reupholstered. I tried to DIY and it came out not as I had liked. Innovation Upholstery stripped it down and made it look so beautiful. Something I wanted to discard is now the most beautiful upholstered item in my home.

I had to get my couch seat foam to be replaced with something that is a bit stiff, and I got it done here with a satisfying result and at a very reasonable price. We saved ourselves some sore backs coming here. Highly recommend!

Dario recovered our existing breakfast nook cushions. He came to the house, made a template of the cushions, and not only just recovered them, he added to the cushions to make sure they were a perfect fit and there were no gaps between cushions. Then he delivered them when finished to make sure they fit perfectly. He went above and beyond what was expected, and did a superb job.

I had my kitchen nook cushions recovered by Innovation Upholstery. Dario came to my house and took templates of the cushions, he not only recovered my existing cushions, but he added to then to make sure there were no gaps between the cushions. Then he delivered them back to my house and checked to make sure there were no gaps between the cushions. Dario went above and beyond what was expected, and did a superb job with my cushions.

Innovation Upholstry is the best. I definitely recommend them for any recovering project you have, no matter how difficult it is. They definitely exceeded my expectations! They recovered 14 chairs for me. 6 of them have an extremely difficult pattern to work with. Each chair matches the design of the fabric from the seat to the back and also down the back and from chair to chair. I doubt any other company would go to the trouble to make that happen. I had reservations about the fabric I bought because the pattern was so complicated! They worked magic!! On top of all that greatness, they were the most affordable. I will use them to Upholster furniture for the rest of my life. I'll post some more pictures when the rooms are complete.

Highly recommend! We had a very old and very pink antique couch that desperately needed an upgrade. The process with Innovation was so easy- able to send pics for an estimate, pick out our own fabric and they did the pick up and delivery. The couch looks amazing and it was very affordable! Great service and terrific craftsmanship!

Just had two chairs completed by Innovation Upholstery and they turned out great. Easy firm to work with and I am very please with outcome. I highly recommend them, and they do pick-ups and deliveries. The work was completed on time (3 weeks) and great value for the price I paid.

Dario and Edgar do amazing work, are reasonably priced, and have worked completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them. They have made slipcovers and repaired the cushions for 2 sofas that were 18 years old that now look brand new. They have also reupholstered antique chairs that also needed the seats repaired, and made custom curtains that look fabulous.

Dario has done several projects for me over the years. I have been very pleased with his work and professionalism. He really pays attention to detail! My next project will be some antique chairs that have been in our family for years. I trust that Dario will do an EXCEPTIONAL job!
