I am giving it a thumbs up - the biryani was so delicious I had to put the utensils away and use my fingers to eat the goat and chicken biryani. Excellent taste I would say, less oil and meat very well cooked with flavor. Only one thing put some ambience music - all was great

I have been a loyal customer of this butcher shop for many years, but I am concerned about the quality of their whole cut chicken recently. I bought two whole chickens cut up today, and each packet contained 4 legs and 4 wings, with an extraordinary number of rib pieces which is definitely sourced from other chickens. A chicken can’t be walking on 4 legs and having 4 wings ? . By the way, there was no white meat to be found! I noticed the same thing last week too!I believe that this is a new problem that has arisen since the management change at the store. The previous management always had high standards for the quality of their meat, and I have never had a problem with their whole cut chicken before. I am disappointed that the new management seems to be more interested in cutting corners than in providing their customers with high-quality products.

Decent with some items that are ocassionally hard to find, such as za'atar seasoning mixture (though not a proper mixture since the main ingredient is wheat, it was still inexpensive and probably much easier to work with by adding additional seasoning like marjoram or oregano; and I would have made my own mixture from scratch if they sold the sumac, though i might have glossed over it) and goat meat (where you can have that ordered or slabs of beef, which they seem to handle on site if you were to order from selection off the refrigerated section. I didn't get any because it wasn't particularly cheap, etc.) I know when I was inquiring about it, they seemed unable to give any elaboration or assistance, and just seemed glibly dismissive, as though they didn't want to be there despite two people standing behind registers in a somewhat empty store. The layout is particularly strange, and I seem to remember it was a different layout from previous visits (about 10 years ago,) where the registers to ring up were where the main produce and meat section sits, in order to give more space for products. The layout is all over the place when it comes to product, and this might give people incentive to shop al Al Markaz down the street.

I ordered to-go and asked for mild dishes. The lady behind the counter suggested chicken korma and Dal. After some back and forth I ordered both h and asked for the yellow Dal and some rice. She indicated it would be about 15 minutes and three in a samosa to eat while I waited. samisa was good but too spicy for me. Food arrived as promised in 15 minutes. Are at home and it was quite tasty and well spiced, not fiery hot. Only quibble is the extraordinary amount of oil on top of the korma. I spooned out 10 tablespoons of it before serving myself! I'd order from here again. Good advice and tasty food with generous portions

PLEASE VIEW THE IMAGES I've posted BEFORE BUYING THEIR FOOD. Absolutely horrified and disgusted with my experience here yesterday. As it is Ramadan - I was out in search of samosas and ended up at indopak. They had only 6 beef samosas left. I was excited, checked out, and left with them. After my fast, one of the first items that I had was the samosa - only to find a white bottle cap inside my samosa which I bit into. My jaw still hurts from biting into the samosa. I'm so disgusted and disappointed that this is the quality of food now a days. Please please beware of the food that you get from here - it was a horrifying and disgusting experience. This is what happens when you ignore multiple red flags from a restaurant- it only ends up getting worse. Ugh - disgusted! Before the review I did go to the restaurant but the manager was apparently too busy to address the situation. The staff said "sorry we forgot to check" and asked me to give a call to the manager - so I did. Called him and was told "I'm busy right now call back later" and hung up on me.
