Purchased brand new wheels and tires January of 2024 from this location. I've used Discount for the last 15 years, my family even longer.
By far the worst service I've experienced.
Was told at time of purchase that they wouldn't be able to balance my new wheels because it was too cold and also they were too busy. Thought it was odd that they felt the need to provide two very different excuses but brushed it off as I've only had good experiences prior to this (at other locations.)
Within the first couple weeks of driving my vehicle I started experiencing extremely severe vibrations anywhere near 60 mph. Picture the T-Rex seen in Jurassic Park with the water dancing around on the dashboard.
Brought it back in to be rebalanced within the first month and was told everything was fixed. Within a week the same issue reappeared only worse.
Got an alignment done and continue to experience the same. Finally found the time to take it to my mechanic who told me it was due to Discount not installing the hub centric rings that come with the wheels I purchased. The time I had spent driving around without them damaged rods, gaskets, control arms, and a few other parts but he kindly replaced for me at cost of material. I purchased them myself and he put them on for free because in his words "you're not the first, second, or tenth person to tell me this story. They do it all the time."
At his advice I contacted the store and spoke to the manager about having the parts ordered and installed as they should have been the first time around. Connor first tried to convince me that Toyota Tacomas do not use hub centric rings (hot tip: they aren't lug-centric from the factory) then said "I don't think they even make aftermarket rings for this size." Absolutely baffling response from the manager of a wheel and tire shop. No doubt in my mind that he actually knows what he's talking about but I don't understand why he felt the need to mislead me instead of fixing the issue.
Was told that he had to order the parts and they would be available within two days for install. I asked if I needed to set an appointment since I would have to take time off work to get this done, Connor told me that would not be necessary and to just show up at 11:00 on the day.
Thankfully I called in advance despite his advice and was told by another associate that the parts likely would not arrive for another 2 to 3 days. I asked to speak to Connor and was told he was not available.
The following day I reached out a second time to see if anything had changed and was told that they had not arrived and would likely not until the following week by that same associate. Connor was again not available. The person I was speaking to said not to worry about calling anymore and that they would reach out to me when they had an update. I asked if they needed my cell phone number and he said "no, I've got it right here."
48 hours go by with no contact. I called again this morning and was told they had arrived two days prior and that the store had tried to contact me via the phone numbers on the account with no luck. The two primary numbers on the account are my father and stepmother who live in another city. Neither of them had any missed calls or voicemails.
Connor, who has magically materialized at this point, then tries to play 20 questions with me as if he's going to try to refuse service because of a communication error on their part. Wants to know my name, the vehicle info on the account, and why my phone number wasn't attached as if that somehow affects the negligence on their part both in install and customer communication.
After a short discussion I agreed to head that way to get the work done. On arrival the associate that worked on my vehicle made a point of coming

Arrived at the free air check because my tire was low. All I wanted was free air and the boy refused to give me air. His reason was my tire was too low, duh!!!!!!!!! That’s the whole reason I wanted air. They would rather allow a customer to drive off with no air then to give what’s free. I don’t know who wrote this dumb policy but it’s a great way to loose business. I’ll never patronize this business. 60 seconds away is Firestone where air is free. Ask for Sasha, she’s Amazing ? with exceptional customer service at Firestone

Service took the time we were informed of. The problem here was the technician didn't install valve caps on the tires replaced. We did not notice this until departed. The technician also installed one of the new tires onto a spare tire rim to the right rear wheel which is a different color. Three wheels chrome, one wheel white. It looks ridiculous. This being a work vehicle, now we have to spend time and money to get this fixed. The technician Could've paid more attention to detail. Not the best experience to say the least

Absolutely insane. I went in for one service and the guy tried to hustle me bad. I don’t know his name but he looked like a white guy with a tan and hazel type eyes. He tried to hustle me to get my tires balanced (tried to charge way more that they usually cost) & when I got old him I’d wait he went to go look at my tires and was blocking the way so I wouldn’t be able to see. Proceeded to tell me my tires were so bad that I shouldn’t be driving on them and tried to scare my into driving new tires when he realized I wasn’t going to buy it. After looking at my tires we went inside and he was showing me a chart and proceeded to say it was “too many numbers for me” and he would “dumb it down so I could understand” like how rude! He ended up showing me the most expensive tires after scaring me about my tires when I asked for something affordable. Once I told him I would come back he proceeded to give me a pep talk about how he doesn’t get paid off of this and he just “cares about my safety” but that was far from true considering how bad he was trying to sell me stuff. Once he realized he couldn’t sell me anything he tried to scare me again on the way out saying he “doesn’t recommend driving that car anywhere” because they were that bad. My tires had a couple months left on them when I took them to two other mechanics to look at them after that. This whole experience was so off putting that it makes me never want to give discount tire my services. Get better workers because that was absolutely ridiculous.
