Bought a truck from these guys a while back - Richard A. was my salesman, he was cool and easy to work with, but the negative thing about this dealership is they want to play the whole payment game, they wouldn't stop the whole "what does your payment need to be at, sign on the dotted line" game, versus giving what final cost is, getting a % rate, getting to actual numbers and being honest salesman. Pretty much had to get to point of walking out before I got real numbers. The finance guys were SO sketchy. Probably wouldnt buy another truck from them. Id recommend a dealership like Classic Grapevine OR James Wood Decatur before these guys.

I don’t write reviews ever. But I felt obligated to tell my story. I recently took my GMC Terrain in for a recall on my window wiper arms. Due to human error, they didn’t work properly when I retrieved my vehicle. I didn’t notice for weeks due to no rain. But it rained and I noticed the malfunction. I called the service center and without hesitation they fixed the issue. I thought. But I retrieved the vehicle and it still had issues. Again I bought it back. I should’ve been upset. But they are so upfront about making a mistake. I appreciate honesty from a dealershipi of this size. No cost to me at any time. And they were truly bothered about the errors. It felt great to see a group of people who care about the consumer. The service department needs to be commended

I first visited the dealership around February and was met by Tony & Billy who by the way are by far the best salespersons I've ever met. I wasn’t ready to make the purchase yet. But Tony waited for me without no pressure till I was ready & that wasn’t till September & got me into what exactly I wanted color & everything! Great experience with Tony and Billy. They REALLY know what they are doing! Because of this, the process was quick and went smoothly. I would have no problem referring my friends and family or recommending this dealership to the public. I am extremely pleased with Vanguard Buick GMC of Carrollton. 2024 GMC SIERRA!!

Brought my Yukon in for service. Scheduled the appointment weeks in advance. Took them over 3 days to look at it after dropped off. They had my car over three weeks and returned it damaged. Wouldn't provide paperwork and what the service provider told me did not align with the paperwork we finally received after waiting days. They also charged GM for warranty work on complaints we never mentioned according to the paperwork. We believe this dealer to committing fraud. Now they of course are denying they damaged my car. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE. The manager Caleb and service advisor Joe will lie to you.

do not buy car from them. last year I purchased a 2021 suv for 96k. They sold me a maintenance plan which is only cover small part of the maintenance but the finance guy said it will cover everything and you can take to the dealer. but that was not the case when my wife took the car to do service A. I called finance and talk to chris. He said I can cancel and get my whole money back and I know that's another lie. I wish they can tell the truth no one need to buy car from them.

Safe to say I’ll never return to Vanguard. Before I say why, Jeremy is top notch and the reason why i started doing business with this dealer. Ive purchased two cars consecutive years and started bringing my other GMC to them. Long story short, after spending $108K on a new vehicle, the windshield cracked. The little window repair warranty is only for a crack. While trying to get schedule to fix the small crack it spread. Therefore, the fine print of the warranty was void and now I had to spend my money on a brand new windshield. Hence, while at Mercedes on a 2019 E class, same scenario (without the crack spreading) just replaced it with no problem. On top of all that, they scratched and dented my hood while their for maintenance. They did fix that, so I am glad for that. All in all, my business dealings with them has come to an end!

Shout out to Richard for his willingness to help and his patience in my car buying experience! Vanguard has been easy to work with - included a couple free oil changes with my purchase and also also offered to fill my tank up when I come back in (got new car on the road and saw my tank was 1/4 full) which was a courtesy they didn’t need to extend. Very happy with the process. Thanks team Vanguard!

This is my second time buying a vehicle here, and let me say it again, hands down was the best experience in buying a car. Jeremy is so easy to work with and he will go above a beyond for you to make the process easy as he can. Buying a car can be stressful but that has not been my experience here at Vanguard of Carrollton. Thanks to everyone who made this sale as easy as it was and for the kindness you showed me :)

I am not a fan of dealing with auto dealerships! However, I had ia great experience working with Tony Garcia! He was very welcoming when I walked into the dealership. He immediately brought the vehicle to the front for me, in this 100 degree Texas weather! We had a very relaxed test drive, and good conversation. Tony didn't pressure me at all. That was very appreciated. Tony is a very jovial, laid back guy who looks out for the best interest of his customer. Lastly, his follow-up is second to none! If you want a pleasant car buying experience, ask for Tony, and tell him that Erik sent you!

The reviews on google are accurate. Vanguard (and specifically) Jeremy makes car buying the experience it should be. It’s incredibly refreshing and we’ve bought two cars from him, each time leaving flabbergasted at what a great experience it was.We have 3 littles so sitting in a dealership all day is not our idea of fun. We negotiated everything down to the financing via phone. Jeremy came through on both and we just came in, test drove and signed the papers. Out with a new car with a fair price and people that treated us with respect in less than an hour.They are honest, easy to deal with and have great customer service. I guess we’re gmc people now because Jeremy has our business! I can’t recommend them more highly.

Great service dept. I didn't buy my truck here but they had the earliest availability for a much needed tire alignment so I took it to them. They drove me home and got everything straight and even washed it and shined the tires for me. Best of all they found a Chevy coupon that took $30 off so it ended up cheaper than anywhere else. I would definitely recommend them and will be returning for my next alignment

Thanks to Tony Garcia for making my truck shopping experience very pleasant and stress free. I recently bought a 2023 GMC Canyon. This was probably the best experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. Tony, Nick and the Vanguard staff were all very friendly and helpful. Tony even followed up after the purchase to make I wasn’t experiencing any issues.

UPDATED REVIEW (SERVICE DEPARTMENT EXCELLENCE). I deleted my sales review with one start because of the service I received. The management team Karl and Moe, are superstars. They make things happen when a challenge arises. Anyone can do well when everything happens as expected. We had a scheduling service challenge that I am sure I caused. It didn't matter they understood I moved 45 miles away and provided me with a loaner to mitigate the issue with completing the repairs during my initial visit. I will continue the 45-mile drive because I KNOW my truck is in good hands with a team that makes things happen and NOT excuses. To help mitigate my sales experience, they replaced my windshield for free (I had scratched it).Unfortunately, car sales is still an unpleasant experience where you have to watch every little detail. If the same sales manager and salesman work there when in two years when I plan on moving to the 2500 super duty truck I will purchase it elsewhere but bring it here for service. The contrast between sales and service is so black and white that it's amazing to me they are part of the same company. I wish I didn't feel I have to bring this up but to be completely honest with my review and for full transparency I am.
