I am a foster for this rescue center. All the workers are friendly. Communication is on point.

I went there yesterday to foster a dog. The dogs name was Romy. The worker there was so helpful. She let us in, she let us look at the other dogs. 10/10 would recommend

Sweetest workers doing all they can to give these pups a wonderful life pre-adoption/ foster. Volunteered here and got to socialize with some puppies and the workers were very kind and put the puppies first! Thank you Cane Rosso for helping with these dogs.

Terrible rescue. Zero communication with fosters. set zero expectations for fosters and did not help with fosters whatsoever. Pro tip: If you want families to continue fostering for you guys, you need to completely revamp your foster program. You leave your fosters out to hang dry and not helpful whatsoever. They also don't vet their fosters out - which is SCARY!!!! It's clear this rescue doesn't care for what's best for the dogs. I heard they constantly have to move foster dogs, which is pretty traumatic for a lot of rescue dogs. It's probably because they don't communicate with any fosters and fosters feel like their on an island by themselves, not know what the heck they're doing. So sad for the dogs.

I got a great dog and everything is fine but Jesus Christ this organization is the absolute worst at communicating with people. It wasn't till a little while after getting my dogs shots that I was given the info to register his microchip. Then with trying to get him neutered it became a hassle because he had to be held at the vet because apparently they setup up the time for me to pick him up from the vet. BUT I've always had trouble reaching anyone there by phone and then emails have time and time again been lost. I appreciate them including the puppies shots and neutering but Jesus pick up the phone if I have to stay in contact with you so much.2 stars because I love my dog but working with them is absolutely a headache and unorganized mess.

They have been great to work with as both a volunteer and adopter.

Took a week just to tell me I was approved. Said they had reservations and wanted to speak with me. Called me in the middle of the day when I was in a meeting and was unable to answer. I called back as soon as I got out of my meeting. She did not answer or call back. I called back every day for a week and left multiple voicemail's. After that got the hint that she was not going to return my call. I thought it was very unprofessional in my opinion. I was very excited to adopt a dog and was very selective about the dog that I chose. It was super disappointing to be told I was approved just to be left hanging like that. I definitely would not recommend this rescue.

I have followed this rescue for about 4 years. We adopted from them 3 years ago, and I’ve volunteered with them several times since then. The Board and staff genuinely love dogs, and it shows. While the have a “focus” in n sporting dogs, they have taken in a wide range of dogs. Sometimes the dog is in such bad shape, there is no way to tell the breed, but CRR welcomes them in. They take all sorts of challenging medical cases and do their best to bring these dogs into the happy lives they deserve.I can see why people who didn’t get the dog they wanted or are turned down to foster would be personally upset. But this just shows that for CRR the dogs come first.I am proud to support CRR.(And Kelly Gray. She’s the best!!!)

I have dedicated over a decade to animal welfare, have countless recommendations - professional and adopters and rescues - and I was told I’m on their “do not foster list.” Instead of speaking to me they make an assumption. This is part of the problem with rescue these days.
