Have stopped here a couple times while camping in the canyon. Always clean, great atmosphere, good prices, and delicious coffee! We’ll be stopping back again on our next trip!

This is the place to stop on the way in or out of Palo Duro Canyon if you need supplies, groceries, souvenirs, a cold beer, or a good meal. Great views inside or out on the patio. It is a must stop for a cold beverage after a big hike through the canyon. Love the wood beams and welcoming vibe.

This place is great all around! Nice to have supplies and food options so close to the park. Not to mention, an espresso machine.
Located 1 mile from the Palo Duro Canyon State Park entrance, Sad Monkey Mercantile offers everything for the happy camper! We have camping gear, grab-and-go food & drink, our own food trailer, wine, coffee, craft beer, groceries, ice and more!
Hot sandwiches served daily inside from 11:00AM - 7:30PM.
Soup available only on cooler days throughout the summer time.
