Cool campground with so much to do. Large, shady rv spaces, variety of cabins to pick from, fun activities for everyone and hiking trails throughout. Very reasonably priced!!!

These are the absolute worst owners to deal with. If you don't come from money or have a healthy amount, They treat you like garbage! They are definitely racist, they are rude, and it's their way or the highway!! The highway has better scenery! People don't forget how you treated them... Courtney!

BTW, there's no free parking! Additional car will range $5 to $10 daily depending on season...The facilities were clean, gameroom was fun (when you can get into it, the door handle was broken), fun grass games. We utilized the fire pit on those cold nights ♨️?MQ Staff Madison and Austin were great and very accommodating. They were professional but yet caring, the type of energy you need in this RV lifestyle ?Lost one star due to MQ Staff Monica. Her tone is not approachable. You get this feeling that she does not have the time to assist or if she's too busy for you ?Other than that...Overall, we enjoyed our Thanksgiving week.Thank you! And we look forward to our next visit at MQRooms: Wow. The varity of style "tents" are mind-blowing. Glamping Lodge and safari are our two favorites!!!!Every one were well kept and CLEAN!Nearby activities: Soooooo much to do on and off grounds!!!!Never could you be bored, kids tooSafety: Wish there was a gate entrance. The play area is in front, and the entrance is right off the main street.Just got to keep watch on Stranger-Dangers. And a leash on the kiddos that like to explore. There's no sidewalk by main road so could be dangerousNoteworthy details: Wi-Fi was great.Sometimes, it was slow, BUT we always had connection.

Mystic Quarry is an RV Park, Glamping Park and boasts cabins, yurts, teepees and much more. There are so many choices when it comes to staying there, but the best part is the vision that Mystic Quarry embraces. There are hiking trails, a beautiful waterfall and outdoor seating area, an outdoor movie screen is in the works and the swimming pool was crystal clear. They have an outdoor party deck with flat screen TV, a lounge in their clubhouse and beer on tap! This amazing property is the best maintained park I've ever visited and the staff is terrific! We were greeted by Madison upon check-in with our travel trailer and her other half, Austin was handling maintenance duties and more. Austin escorted us on his golf cart right to our spot and made sure to assist in backing my rig in, maintaining proximity to the water and power connections. You couldn't ask for better service. The park itself is heavily wooded with Live Oaks and there was a surprising amount of space for each RV - twice what you might normally find. The second day of our visit, Madison rode by and invited us to the clubhouse for a "Friendsgiving" dinner. We joined a dozen or so of our fellow RVers and enjoyed a freshly cooked Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings. What a wonderful surprise and a great way to get to know everyone. We stumbled across this gem during a web search and we're glad we did. We'll definitely be going back!

Mystic Quarry staff are friendly and accommodating. They keep the campground and facilities clean and well stocked. We were amazed at all the games available in the Recreation Center and pool room. The waterfall is beautiful day and night. We appreciated the lighting on the grounds and the video cameras made us feel extra safe. I appreciated the hiking trails and the pool. I am excited about all the different options of places to stay and we will upgrade to one of those instead of sleeping in a tent next time. The land is beautiful and more than met our needs as a large group.

The RV campsite area had nothing to offer. Place was not very well taken care of. Our campsite was nestled right up to a pop up camper that we felt was right in our face. We have our German Shepard and they put a Doberman and another big dog right next to us. Really! Although our Shepard is very well trained we didn’t know about the Doberman. There were plenty of open spots so why put these dogs next to each other. Went to the pool and it was so strong with bleach smell you didn’t want to get in. We absolutely did not see a hot tub anywhere. They did have a pretty good band. That was the only good thing about this place. We will not be coming back as the place was trashy looking. Not worth the price. There is a yogi bear resort right down the street that looked amazing and had so much more to offer. To bad we didn’t know about it before booking Mystic. Mystic needs to clean up the place and be available for your patrons.

We camped here for a week, stayed in our RV, and absolutely loved it. Very friendly staff and very clean park. Located right in the middle of anything to go do, float the river or go to Canyon Lake. We did both. Very laid back atmosphere and the other guests were very nice too. We walked the trail and it was very nice. Plenty of things to do and see, would highly recommend and will be back again!!

My family and small dog had a great time at our Tiny House over Labor Day weekend. We traveled from out of state for a wedding, and Mystic Quarry offered a relaxing time with lots of activities. We took short hikes (it was very hot that weekend), enjoyed the pool, and spent an evening or two watching the stars from our front porch while listening to live music. The house was clean, lovely, well-air conditioned, had hot water and good water pressure. Tubing was very close by, but we didn’t have time to partake. A great place for a getaway!

We booked the Glamping Lodge at $214 a night and were so disappointed we cut our trip short. Writing this review so others are aware before booking. 1. The tents are not sealed. Meaning there is a gap along the ground letting all sorts of bugs in and rendering the air-conditioning useless. Was a big surprise to us as they look like wooden lodges with a tent for a roof in the photo but that is not the case. My husband dropped our toothbrush off the bathroom sink and walked around the back of the tent and was able to put his hand in and retrieve the toothpaste.2. There are no cooking conveniences. No plates or cutlery in the kitchen. Tents come with a grill but there are no tongs for instance.3. The fire pits are propane. No thought is put into how guests will use the firepit. No ignitor in the pit and no lighter provided. Also the propane is poorly controlled and fireballed when we eventually went out to purchase a lighter and turned it on.4. The absolute worse though was hearing my daughters blood curdling scream when she pulled back the sheets at 7pm for bedtime only to find a huge spider between the sheets. I called the camp emergency number asking if we could get a refund if we left but they really couldn't care less and said no refunds. We decided then and there to eat the cost, pack our stuff up, and drive the 4.5 hours home. Creating memories with our camping 2023 trip. Just not the type of memories we wanted.

Honestly one of the worst places to stay at. I wish I could rate this 0 stars but I didn’t have that option. Starting off with the low water pressure and dirty facilities. The floors were covered in dirt and glitter from the last guests. The shower was muddy. The amenities were barely functional. Sinks were clogged, toilet didn’t flush, and the bunks were unsafe to sleep in. Spinning chairs were loose, so they need to be looked at because anyone could easily fall. We had 1 guest come and was overcharged. The website said $10 per guest for the entry and $5 parking but our guest was charged $25. On top of that, they want to want to blame us for something that was already broken when we got there. Sad what people will do for an extra buck. Unethical and will not be returning.

Before you even go into your tiny house take pictures of EVERYTHING. I mean everything from inside out every step you take.. We just got back home to Houston to find out we didn't get our full deposit back because something was damaged that was CLEARLY already damaged before we even stepped a foot into this facility. We didn't think anything of it BECAUSE you could clearly tell it was old damage. Also, we noted some of the amenities were barely functional (the toilet barely flushing, and sink was somewhat clogged, but it was "good enough" for two days). Our other family member stayed at a non-dog friendly tiny house, we could tell there was newer and better kept up with which we did not mind nor were surprised about since it was not a dog friendly house. Honestly I would have let it slide because we are not ones to complain. We did not want to take time away from our trip to be waiting for staff to come fix something this minor and already there. Supervisor named Monica was not friendly whatsoever, its almost as if we should feel privileged to stay here instead of welcoming her guest. If you are planning on grilling or bbq, bring your own because the ones at the facility are trash.Noteworthy details: Save your money and stay somewhere else.

This was our second summer staying at MQ. We brought our RV with a group of 3 total RVs. Last year we stayed closer to the exit which was closer to the quarry. It was quieter and a little more private. This year we stayed close to the pool and all the games and stuff to do. It was louder and less private but we preferred it because we could listen to the live band, walk across and lay in the hammocks, easily access the pool and all of the other amenities. The staff is always helpful and they will refill your RV propane tanks too. I highly recommend MQ as a place to stay. Its just minutes from Canyon Lake, close to the dam, close to the horseshoe and a short drive to get to Gruene and the rest of the New Braunfels river. The prices are fair.

Fun place to stay. Game room with pool and table tennis. However you can only play one at a time. Friday night live music and food truck. Close to river rides. Shuttle service available but for a price. Swimming pool was not clean. Bathrooms and showers very clean..
