My name is Lisa Hudson. William is my deceased husband. Don’t know why this review shows up under his name. Very rude and unprofessional. Hilary does not return phone calls and blames it on staff. Who know if & when I will get my taxes back this year, due in large part to this location’s/Hilary’s incompetence and refusal to help with follow up. I will never use H&R Block again.

$900 for a tax return you can do with H&R Block online software for $60. Plus you can get it done in 30 minutes. Terrible business model preying on busy people looking for convenient services.

Price is not as advertised and wasn't told price until after filed and signed. Did not want them to prepare or file state taxes in another state as I was doing that myself but they filled them out anyways even after me telling them 3 times not to and was charged extra due to them preparing them anyways. When I reached out afterwards to the tax preparation person who did my taxes I recieved rude responses with a care less attitude. I was under the impression it was going to be 89 and was not told it would be more. I was charged 400 something dollars. When I asked why I wasn't told the price she said it said it in the packet I gave you. She gave me the packet after she filed and had us sign. Very unprofessional ordeal all together. Also they are very unorganized as far as what's going on and don't note when they have talked to you or set appointments and it's hard to get responses through their app messaging as well. Lesson learned next year I'll be going back to turbo tax. Our prep/tax professional person was hillary harmon but our packet says someone named Ruth was the prep person/tax professional.

I do Not recommend this location! I called over 5 times and left messages and Hilary never returned my calls! I had to go into the office and wait for Hilary's appointments to be done until she would talk to me. The IRS had caught some mistakes on my income tax. Hilary offered no apology but said she would correct it. I NEVER heard back from her after that, it's been 7 months and I still don't have my tax return money or even heard from Hilary! The NB location is now helping with me with this and they stay in communication with me with updates. I paid Hilary her fee before the mistake was caught and I want a refund for services that were not accurately rendered.

Hillary I and her assistant are ? AMAZING! I had recently lost my husband and didn't have it any paperwork that I really needed she was able to find all the information that I didn't have and it wasn't easy they're so kind and helpful highly recommend her

I'm very unhappy with the cost, which was completely unexpected and still unexplained, the length it took to get my taxes prepared, and the things that were missed until i brought them up again
