I highly recommend this wedding venue to couples who are looking for a mix of beautiful scenery, the Texas hill country, and tons of photo opportunities across the property. This venue is the perfect touch of nature with a home type feel. Some of the wedding guests even jumped in the river while we were taking photos. 10/10 unforgettable experience

The views of the river are beautiful. Barely enough hot waTer to fill the copper tub for 2 in the honeymoon suite (17) the water was luke warm. And you HAVE TO HAVE Netflix or Amazon prime to watch the TV. It took a good hour or more to figure the TV out. Cabins 17 & 18 have no parking. So you literally have to walk to these 2 cabins (down hill/up hill)

We stayed for our anniversary and were truly impressed. The accommodations are fantastic. We enjoyed having the fireplace, and lots of room in the Honeymoon suite. The copper bathtub was unique and the porch views of the river were amazing. Every window had a great view! The people watching is fun, especially seeing the fly fishers make their catch.The icing on the cake was the management. She called to check in to see if we needed anything the morning of our reservation. When I told her about our anniversary, she asked what wine we prefer. When I told her we're non-drinkers, she provided us with a glass of my favorite Sparkling Cider instead! That's thoughtful service you don't see much!!Even though it's close to a main road, there's lots of flora to separate it and it must be well insulated, because we heard nothing inside the cabin.Tip: It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot, with uneven pavers, so bring a suitcase with wheels if you can.

My husband officiated a wedding at this venue yesterday. We stayed in one of the cottages and I can honestly say we were pleasantly surprised at how inviting it was. Everything was super clean and straight, just the way my hubby likes it. The coffee was delicious too!And that was just the cottage!The venue is BEAUTIFUL! Beyond expectation!The staff was super helpful when we had a last minute addition to the ceremony.The view at the ceremony site outside was breathtaking. The waterfalls added to the ambience perfectly. The tiki torches along the ceremony path was perfect for photography and I could go on and on.I highly recommend this venue for any event.Food & drinks: There are several hot spots for food near this venue. We enjoyed 2 amazing foodie experiences while there.Granny D’s and Kafekali bakery.

Love this place. Stayed here several times, and enjoyed our stay every time. Peaceful location, view is breathtaking. Easy access to the river. Very clean, customer service is helpful. Beautiful trails nearby. Great place for a weekend getaway.
