We shopped at this Family Dollar store two days in a row and the same person checked us out. Her name was Kim and she is super friendly and made us feel very welcome to this area.

Make sure you watch what the are charging as they over charged me on 3 items, although they were marked lower on shelf, said they stocked them wrong. Well my question is if you stocked it wrong, who's problem is that? Not mine, either learn how to stock or honor the price. Most people would. Dollar general a little further, but I'll drive there, before I buy anything else from this store.

This Family Dollar store sits between an O'Reilly's auto parts and an Ace hardware store on FM-2673 in Canyon Lake. It's definitely much larger than your average convenient store and has a lot more to offer. On the outside, you'll notice they have a water machine, ice and propane tanks for sale. Inside they have much of what you would expect to find in a Walmart, except in a more concentrated form. Inside there are 15 refrigerator doors and 15 freezer doors. A few doors carry cold beer, but no craft beer. Inside you'll find all of these items such as cosmetics, kitchen items, food and pantry items, do it yourself fix-it items, and a considerable amount of clothing and bedding. Things are not marked/priced correctly. There was signs that said 50% off athletic shoes and when I approached the register it rang up regular price and the associate did not honor the posted signs but instead went and ripped off the signs and said it expired and they did not honor the posted 50% off. On top of that the staff is rude, unprofessional and lazy. I asked for something off of the top shelf and I got attitude from the staff member and she took a while to find a step stool to reach the item. I won't be back to this location. Waste of time and money. I will go somewhere else going forward.
