They did a very terrible job on my car and most importantly MADE IT WORSE!. I do NOT RECOMMEND TO TAKE UR CAR THERE!. As well the mechanic is always drinking while working on cars.

I received a quote to replace my 05 bmw engine for 1000$ that's fluids replaced, miscellaneous hardware, and gaskets replaced. I provided my own coolant because my car recommends a specific kind that is hard to find. I had my car towed from my place of residence by the owner and his friend for 200$ ( I paid by check at the time of transport). I drove down to the establishment to look around and give a few instructions. While I was there; I was informed that I could expect my car in a week or so if no unforseen issues arise and I would receive a call in a couple of days to be updated on progress. About 4 days went by and I called to because I haven't heard from them. They explain the engine has been out for a few days but they can't put the new engine in until I make a decision on a few issues. 1. The transmission support brace is cracked 2. The alternator is broken 3. I probably need a exhaust system because the old motors headgasket leak ruined it. When I tried to come up with a solution the owner said he was busy and needed to call me back. After a couple of days on waiting I call back with a solution that we both agreed with and they said my car would be ready at the end of the week. At the end of week 2 I call to see if everything is still good for me to come pick up my car and was informed that they had broken my hood. They asked me if I knew how to open it lol. They told me they were mechanics and not body men and at the end of the day my now broken hood was my problem. To make matters worse they didn't finish putting everything back together under the hood. At that point I my arrangements to get my vehicle the next day. When I arrive in make a attempt to open my hood and out of nowhere they tell me "we tried to open the hood with the tools we have but I'm not going to spend another 100$ in tools on a job I'm not making any money on". I am really ready to go at this point. I proceed to write a check for the second time and he told me he can only accept cash and he's getting ready to close. I explained to him I had written him a check before that has already cleared and have receipts to prove it. He told me he doesn't trust me and he doesn't do business like and if I can't get cash then I can't get the car. I call the police because as long as I have a acceptable form of payment and willing to pay the price agreed upon they are illegally withholding my property. Needless to say the owners were upset and I left with my engine replaced and a list of new issues. When I got home I discovered the reason my hood "broke" is because for some reason they removed all of the hood latch screws so when you try to pulled the hood release the cable is too loose to open the hood. I felt so disappointed, disrespected, and most of all taken advantage of. Negative 5 stars

Called at 2pm, no answer. Which i suppose is better than the other shops which just pick up the phone and hang up. What's the deal do these places just tired of making money? Trying to give them some! The search for Canutillo auto repair continues.
