"Mopar is a cheap part" he used that line to try to convince me not to order a factory stock part for my Jeep online. I get it, shops make a 30% markup on parts they order. I would still be paying that markup on 3 other parts, even buying the strut online. Then, when I decided to pull my car or of his shop, the 46$ he was going to charge me for a diagnostic on the original estimate, became 79$. Plus a twelve dollar charge for shipping parts back. Parts are more expensive, which means more markup if you get them locally. If he got my parts locally, why did they need to be shipped back and why did it take them 2 weeks to arrive. Ripoff.
