Most of the help are not nice, and don't say thank you or can I help you. They charge high prices and give little service. A couple of the older folks and one female are nice enough to keep repeating business for now.

I have a large project to do for my father the is 100% service related disabled. The total cost for materials at Home Depot was over 1200 including a veteran discount of $7.58….yes, 7.58. Called Woodson and they sold me everything I needed for under 1000.00 and gave me a 10% veteran discount on all of it. I didn’t tell them the pricing from Home Depot. Just shows you that your local lumber yard is better than any corporate business!! Keep it local and support your neighbors!!

They have everything you need for the house and yard repairs and etc.just moved to the area and they make everything so easy to buy many supplies and materials.and the staff is overly friendly.thanks

We are nearly finished building out the interior of our new home, a barndominium, near Caldwell. About 9 months ago we began working with Woodson headquarters in Caldwell and Woodson Lumber, also in Caldwell, for doors, windows, lumber, plumbing and everything else you need when building a home. They treated us well, were fair with us and didn't make fun of me when I had (stupid?) questions about new things I'd never done before. When we had a hiccup with a delivery they came out a second time and made it right. The folks in the store are knowledgeable and have a wealth of experience in building. They also saved me from myself a couple of times (at least). Now we're inside our home and I can't look anywhere without seeing Woodson Lumber's influence. That's a good thing.

I try to support local businesses. This store is right around the corner from my house. They have a nice variety, but the people who work here are not welcoming at all and always act like I'm bothering them.
