The doctors and staff are more than professionals as they really care for the animals they treat. My dog, Zoe, a little Shih Tzu was getting older and sickly when we moved from New Hampshire in 2020. They actually saved her life and brought her back as the furbaby we remembered. They were gentle, loving and knowledgeable with the care she received. On August 14, 2024 she moved on to the Rainbow Bridge and we will be forever grateful to these wonderful folk for the care and love she received. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Sorry for being late with this review. A few weeks back, I had an older horse colic. He was not a high dollar horse but just a pasture statue. I called 4 other vet clinics closer to my house and got no help from any of them. I called these folks and as luck would be, Dr.Norris was coming in after lunch. They told me bring him on….these folks went above and beyond to try to save him. They were honest and I was sent on to a Texas Equine in Bryan. Unfortunately I had to make the decision to let him go. They then called me a few days later to check on how things had turned out.
I will be going back with my other horses for their care from now on. Many thanks to everyone at this clinic.

Our dog Hazel had a tooth extraction a couple of days ago. Not only did they do a good job on the extraction, we were surprised to see they cut her nails and cleaned her ears while she was sedated. We thought that was a kind jester and shows a true caring for their furry clients. She was well taken cared for, Wonderful Staff,
Communication was great. Very happy.

Wouldn't fill a prescription from another vet without charging for a visit and consult. Pure greed.

Unbelievable!!!! My little 7 lb granddog who had her 1st annual a few weeks ago was encouraged to take the 3 in 1 Flea/Tick treatment!! This has been known to create seizures and actually kill little dogs.... Then when I ordered her Heartgard from Chewy this Vet wanted an $11.00 "prescription fee" because we didn't purchase their extremely overpriced 3 month supply from them!!!! In over 30 years of having dogs and several vets I have NEVER had to pay a prescription fee because I chose to purchase my dogs meds from another outside source!!!! I told my DIL to find another Vet that is not money hungry!!!! And that actually cares about the health of your animal!!!

Caldwell Veterinary Clinic was recommended to me when I moved to the area two years ago and they've given great care to the animals in our life. Recently they went above and beyond when my dear Penny the Toy Poodle was diagnosed with a fatal illness. They were patient and comforting to me as I was grieving, and the treatment to myself and my pet was more than I could have hoped for. ?
A couple weeks later they sent me a package that was so touching! It's very comforting to have: her paw print in clay and a tuft of her fur in a little bottle, and a hand-written sympathy card, plus a sweet poem.
I HIGHLY recommend Caldwell Veterinary Clinic!

Really enjoyed my experience and felt very welcomed and like a regular on my first visit. Staff appears to really care and it shows. I highly recommend them and everyone was professional, helpful, compassionate and really go the extra mile to make sure u get the care u need, even if it's outsourced. Thanks to all the staff members.

PSA! PSA! PSA! WARNING!Had my girlfriend’s dog taken here to get a tumor looked at and possibly removed. These people feed off of peoples fear of losing their loved ones and here’s how and why. It cost 250$ to get a needle and aspirate the tumor, then they wanted 5,000 dollars to remove it. We were then told we needed to do the procedure or we could lose her to cancer! We thought it was pretty serious but obviously thought the price was outrageous, so we thought we were going to have to just cut our losses. Then hope strikes again, we took her to a VETERINARY CLINIC IN LUMBERTON TEXAS AND GUESS WHAT!!! WE WERE TOLD SHE WASNT GOING TO DIE, AND IT WOULD ONLY COST US 400$ TO REMOVE, WITH ALL ANTIBIOTICS, ANESTHESIA, EVERYTHING!!! SERIOUSLY… STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!
