The Trading Post Convenience Store is a very nice place for locals in rural South Toledo Bend. The friendly and helpful people bridge a huge gap. You can sit down and eat or take it with you. They sell a little bit of everything, including bait, Hunts Brother’s Pizza, and hand dipped Blue Bell Ice Cream. They also have non ethanol gas and a clean restroom.
The service was great and there lunch special was brisket baked potatoes and it was delicious. Definitely found me a new place to eat when I'm working in that area!!

When you live as rural as we do in South Toledo Bend, you learn to appreciate the little things. The Trading Post has the little things and the big things. They bridge a huge gap for us locals.
