Twice we almost lost her, (due to medical issues) and both times they were there for her and us.
A little back story:
My wife and I waited 10yrs searching for the right companion for both of us. Approx 2 months after having this not-so-small, but gentle creature with us, she got sick not once, but twice. Requiring two separate surgeries.
Long story short, we’ve made a commitment to this being and we will do everything we can to honor it & Country Hills is helping us with that.

“We have only been here in the Bergheim area for a couple of years, but we have had MANY experiences with Bergheim Pet Hospital and Clinic - and all of them have been great. We had one dog who got very sick shortly after we moved here from out of state - she became very chronically ill, and each time we needed to be seen, Bergheim was always there to help us. When the time finally came to say goodbye, their compassion for both our dog and for us was well beyond what words can convey.
Since then, we have adopted two more rescue dogs (now we have a total of three fur babies), and the team ALWAYS gives us the best care. Dr. Fradkin, Dr. McMullen, and Dr. Kresser are all great at explaining what their thoughts are and in presenting options when they are available. We have the greatest confidence in the care they provide to all our dogs. We are always greeted with Emma's friendly smile, and vet techs Caedan and Alex are magnificent at making friends with all our pets -- even our wild "teenage" sable German Shepherd! We highly recommend Bergheim Pet Hospital and Clinic!!”

“My family lives in the area so they go, and now I go. I love how professional the environment is. I love how professional all the employees are … they know the vets office can be a scary place for your pet, but they truly have patience and work w your pet rather then rushing through the process as you have a scared pet.
Highly knowledgeable- I took my senior here and they debunked my 13 yr old seniors previous diagnosis and found the real and root of the problem, and now my old lady will live a bit longer and happier since we know the true nature of what’s going on w her.
I live in SA and will continue to make the trip to this vet as long as I know the current staff will stay long term. Highly recommended if you need good knowledgeable vet services.”

“I have been coming to Cibolo Canyons Veterinary Hospital for almost 10 years now and they have provided exceptional care for 4 of my Great Danes, 2 mini doxies, a pit mix and several cats over the years. The techs and doctors have always done an excellent job of working within my animals’ comfort level during exams. Their fear free approach to exams makes visits much less dramatic for all of my animals but especially the nervous or reactive ones. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this because with a 145lb reactive dog many places would insist on sedating him. Cibolo Canyons Vet staff goes above and beyond to help make his vet visits as relaxing and fun as possible for him. Rogue doesn’t yet LOVE the vet but he is getting much more comfortable with each visit and we are able to keep him and the staff safe. We greatly appreciate the entire staff for the care provided over the years!”
“I called sobbing 8/1/24 bc my senior (16year old) dog Papi was dying. Morgan was patient on the phone with me as I cried about my baby Unfortunately Papi died during the 30 minute drive but upon arrival I called again and a gentleman came out and treated Papi's body with such care as if he was still alive. I was allowed to sit in the comfort room with his body and was assisted with picking out his urn Thank you so much Night Watch Elite”

“My fiance and I were looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Veterinary clinic for our dog Pirelli. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Richardson came into the office, introducing himself and shaking hands. He also made contact with Pirelli and made sure to connect with him. He did a very thorough exam and really engaged with Pirelli. After the exam, he broke down his findings and answered all our questions. Truly happy with the experience we had and will be coming back for further exams and treatments.”
