Hours: Buffalo Gap Historic Village is a must see historical village that is like stepping back in time. It gives a snapshot and idea of what life was like at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The buildings and artifacts are very interesting and documented brilliantly, offering more info than many historical sites. Visitors receive a warm welcome and a detailed map for the self-guided tour. A favorite place is the little school house. However, a downfall is the amount of dust on the furnishings, antiques, and glass display cases, which detracts from the treasures.
