I never thought I'd leave a review for a post office, but here it goes. I've had a PO box there for a few years. I check it about once or twice a week. On average, for whatever reason, mail gets delayed upwards of 2 weeks to get in my box, pretty consistently. And I quite frequently get mail for other boxes. When the annual subscription was up, they changed my box key and claimed they had given me plenty of notice that the bill was due, but it was the first I had heard of it. I'm slowly transitioning my mail away from USPS because I just don't know why it takes so long. Recently I was told by the bank that all my mail was returned; however they have the right address...so really not sure why.

Robert should not be working here. He makes you feel so uncomfortable with how he treats you. I literally just grabbed my stuff and went to fedex instead.

The friendliest post office in America! I always have a very pleasant experience. I’ve never been in a post office where all of the employees appear so happy and friendly. One time they apologized for my wait and I was second in line and waited about 30 seconds ? Truly higher standards than any other USPS! Thank you all for being kind and caring!

I have been going to this post office for 7 years. At the counter, 2 employees: Cindy on the left, Robert (the tall Latino) on the right. Cindy is normally always very kind and efficient compared to Robert who is rude and incompetent. Over the last 3 years, he has sent 2 of my parcels for France elsewhere: one to India (I still don't believe it!), the second somewhere in limbo. Both were returned to me after several weeks. Yet each time I asked him if he had difficulty deciphering my writing (as he never answered, I thought everything was fine).Another time, I asked him if he could put extra tape on my envelope: “No, you have to buy some,” while pointing at the supplies hanging on the wall. Not that long ago a package I was expecting was delivered to the wrong zip code so I had to go to the post office and I explained him the problem - This is his list of stupid responses: (1) You need to go to your post office. (2) Do you live in Austin?. (3) You need to call the company first (don't you think I already did?!). Well the guy didn't have the slightess idea what to do so he asked his manager but after that... he was still unable to give a valid answer, so I had to talk to the manager directly. He seriously starts to get on my nerves so today when I went there - And I don't know why but I have to deal with R. 80% of the time (!) - I decided to skip my turn with him saying "No, I'll go with her (Cindy)'... and this time the always lovely Cindy went as cold as ice without a glance, a goodbye, anything.Wow!How what is a simple, common thing – going to USPS – slowly turned into an unpleasant experience.

Today I received a phone call from the Buda post office supervisor about a package that was marked delivered but in fact had not been delivered. She explained that this person was not on my customer card and therefore they could not deliver it and were holding the package for me at the post office. She went on to to say that the carrier figured at some point I would call or come to the post office to figure out why I didn't get my package yet. I told her in the 8 years I've lived here I've never had to fill out a customer card for anybody receiving mail at my home. Just 2 days ago I received mail for this person in my mailbox, but the package with this person's name was held at the post office. The supervisor didn't have an explanation for that, nor did she even care to apologize for any kind of inconvenience this was to the customer. In fact, she made it sound like it was my fault and that I was stupid for not filling out a customer card. This post office is by far the worst I have had to deal with. The front staff are great and are a pleasure, but the supervisor is awful.

I worked with the Buda Post Office to get my mailbox setup and for a package I addressed to the wrong address. Each interaction was pleasant.

Honestly, this is by far the best post office I’ve ever had to deal with. From my first encounter with them they have gone above and beyond to assist me. I order from a website quite often and they seem to always mess up my delivery address and my packages constantly end up at my previous address. In the last 6 months it has happened twice and everyone at the post office have done unheard of things to get me my packages. Today, my package was delivered to my previous address and I now live out of state. Darlene instructed me of what I needed to do then went out of her way to ensure my package was returned to the post office and will be forwarded to my new address. I have never experienced such great service! I am in awe at their dedication to their community.
