Great mechanics and awesome customer service! A few months ago I was driving in from out of town when my alternator went out and I stopped at Auto Zone and Oriellys to check my battery. I walked over to Oil Changers and Repair to see if an alternator replacement was something they could do. Kevin (or Keith) was very helpful and professional and gave me a quote for the work and said they could start right away. Jamie worked on my car as well and they took care of it in a timely manner. They even notified me that my timing belt was splitting and needed replacement, so I grabbed one from Auto Zone and they would put in on while working on my alternator, free of charge! It’s really hard to find good mechanics and trust them as well, but I really appreciate the guys here for helping me out in a pinch. I’ll definitely be back if I run into any other car problems.

Editing review-Ethan, the regional manager, contacted me this morning to explain how the pricing works so that I wouldn't feel taken advantage of. Apparently, they have a system that tells them what to charge based on your car and the service, and that is how they calculate costs. The fact that they got it done quicker than the system told them it would take is just a matter of how well the employees can do their job! Hopefully, going forward, they can be a little more clear about stuff like this so us "automotively challenged" folks will understand how our money is being spent.I appreciate the how quickly this place can get me in and out but to be charged for 1.5 hrs of labor when I was only there for 45 min is a bit disappointing.

Friendly, however not very quick. And they forgot to top off my wiper fluid, which was marked complete on my receipt. How am I to trust everything else was completed? My job sends our fleet to this location for service and is the only reason I came for service this time.

Mark was very attentive and friendly and nice. He provided great customer service! He changed my cabin filter and did a great job. I will always go to Oil Changers for my car needs! Great people work there!!

Think Twice Before Bringing a Big Job to Service One AutomotiveI should have realized what Service One is far sooner, and more importantly what it is not. Take it from a family who has had well over a year of their lives wasted, while dealing with the constant frustration of a shop that is more geared toward quick and easy oil changes than any serious automotive work. We made the mistake of bringing our care there for an engine replacement…My single biggest complaint: They could have simply told us that they were not up for the job.We were loyal customers of Service One in Buda, TX for many years… Our experience over this past year has changed that forever. Now, we feel obligated to share our experience as a warning to families so that they can avoid anything like our experience… The service that we received at Service One was by far the worst customer service experience of our entire lives. Take it from a person who taught a customer service course for 5 years… Every single call, over the course of many months, was a gas-lighting experience.Service One had our car for 5 months to replace the engine… We got the runaround for three of those months, and then the engine finally arrived!!!... And we got the runaround for another 2 months. Throughout this time, the messaging was consistent… “Not this week, Boss… It’ll be ready by the end of the week.” We did this from mid-April through September… We asked for a loaner for months, but were consistently informed that, “our loaner is in the shop too” (probably a solid indicator that this is not the place for a big job in and of itself, if you can’t fix your loaner over the course of nearly half a year).Toward the end of this experience, we were told for nearly a month that the regional manager would contact us... Once we finally went around the shop and connected with Ethan, he informed us that he had ZERO knowledge that we were trying to reach him for several weeks!!Then, after 5 months of this, they broke our AC during the engine replacement. I picked up the car and drove it home… Within 2 hours the AC was not working. Given our experiences up to this point, part of which involved several months of direct lies, our trust with Service One has been damaged beyond repair. There was simply not a chance that we were going to bring our car back to Service One, especially given the questionable circumstances and sense that this damage could have been retaliatory (they could do more damage and try to charge us for it)…I brought our vehicle to another shop in Buda, TX that is far better equipped for this sort of repair… They reported that the cause of the damage was more likely gross incompetence than malicious intent (honestly, I am not sure which is better, given the circumstances). The mechanic requested that I come view the work, which is because the AC hose was twisted around in ways that clearly caused the damage… He walked through all of it with me as if these were mistakes he wouldn’t even expect from a toddler mechanic. He documented the incompetence on the part of Service One and gave me the hose as clear evidence of the damage done to the AC by Service One to our vehicle.Now, after all of that… Service One refuses to reimburse us for the damage done to our car during the repair… A repair that took them 5 months to do incorrectly.Ethan directed me to bring my car back to Service One, giving an example about McDonalds (If they mess up your order, are you never going to another one?) If McDonalds messes up a Thirteen Thousand Dollar order and breaks my car in the process?…NEVER AGAIN!!! In the end, Ethan was right about one thing though… We would rather bring my car to McDonalds for auto work than to ever bring it to Service One again.Our next step is the Better Business Bureau.

Extremely expensive and they upsell their services. Stay away !! 110 for full synthetic ?? you can get it done for half of that price in major shops. I was here for an oil change and they want to work on everything except that. I waited for more than 1 hour for an oil change and there was not even any queue in the lane. I have never had such a bad experience at an oil changer center. Dont recommend.

Had a bad experience with a guy at autozone. My battery was dead. He was being extremely misogynistic...I walked over and was honest about what happened and a very nice gentleman at the desk assisted my daughter and I with a jump. He even tested the alternator for us!Thank you so very much! We got to where we needed to get to and got a replacement battery and got home!

My retired senior citizen deaf mother went in for an oil change. They tried to upsell everything they could throw at her and gave her a quote of over $500 dollars. Predatory as hell!!! Still managed to talk her into spending $130 bucks on stuff she didn't need. What ever happened to honest people?

I took my vehicle in for a car inspection and oil change. I don't drive my car often, so I absolutely knew I did not need an air filter change. I let the young gentlemen know why I was there and specially told him I DID NOT NEED AN AIR filter change. Next thing I know the same young gentlemen walked in the office where I was waiting with an air filter that wasn't even mine. I told him a SECOND time I did not need an air filter and restated what I needed. THEY CHARGED ME anyways for the air filter.. I told them I was charged for the air filter on my receipt, KEVIN the tech wanted to pull my air filter out from my car. PLEASE watch out with this place. They have scammers working there that prey on women's inexperience of auto maintenance.
