Zero stars if I could!! Vegan lifestyle or you're going to die attitude. Has to collect $25 just to set an appointment. No way; does not sound like a Doctor that I can rely on. What a quack.

I would give 0 stars if I could. She’s money hungry and that’s all she really cares about. I was having health issues and her answer “eat a big bowl of greens every morning.” . That was seriously her answer to what we later discovered to be panic disorder and GAD. She didn’t want me to see a cardiologist or anything. She even told me the panic attacks probably ripped my already leaky valve but we wouldn’t know. I finally decided to see another dr and she guilt tripped me saying that she was the only one who truly cares and no one else would give me the answers. I found another dr then she refused to send any of my lab work or the echo I paid 1500 to have. PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SAFTEY!

I began seeing Dr. Linda Carney in mid July 2019. She has, BY FAR, been the best family doctor I’ve ever had! If I had to described Dr. Linda Carney through my experience, she is a compassionate, caring, thoughtful, informative, kind, professional, enthusiastic, motivational, and inspirational doctor.

Visiting Dr. Carney for the first time was an experience I never had before with a doctor. She spent an hour getting to know me and finding out my health concerns. She continues to spend as much time with me as is needed on each visit. I never feel that she is rushing through my visit to get to anyone else. She's very thorough and explains details so that I know and understand what is going on. I highly recommend her services if you need a doctor! The whole staff is very caring.

My 94-year-old mother’s health had taken a downward plunge. She was suffering from heart, liver and kidney failure. Multiple elevated liver enzymes was very worrying and her local doctors’ response was to simply prescribe more drugs in addition to the brush-off that she is just old.A bit of background: My wife and I have benefited tremendously by the services of Dr. Linda Carney of Buda, Texas. While possessing multiple board certifications, she chooses to be an independent doctor to avoid being bound by the limitations institutional network doctors are subjected to by the medical industry. This allows her to provide her time and knowledge to her patients without restraining her passion for curing – over treating. A few years ago, my wife and I both passed the age of 65, putting us into Medicare status. Dr. Carney does not take Medicare, so we had to change doctors. It wasn’t long before we decided that Dr. Carney was more than worth the cost of private pay.I suppose it is typical for a 94-year-old to be in bad health, but that doesn’t diminish my desperate feeling of wanting to save my mother. With my personal experience with Dr. Carney’s care, I felt that much better could be had for my mother. After asking Dr. Carney about her condition and blood-work results, she agreed to see her.Reviewing my mom’s bloodwork, Dr. Carney found that her elevated liver enzymes, and other failings, was due to being over-medicated, medication conflicts and medication toxicity. She created a weaning off schedule of some of the drugs and prescribed a new diet. One week later her liver enzymes were reduced by more than a third and well on the way to healing. Additionally, her blood-pressure had reduced to normal thus eliminating the need for blood-pressure medication. Her blood-pressure now averages 110/60 with no medication. Her cholesterol dropped from the 200’s (where it had hovered all her life) down to 117. She is now alert, her strength, energy, stamina and mobility are all improving every day. She no longer feels perpetually exhausted. And she has lost 20 pounds. It is amazing how so many of us suffer – to the death – from harmful foods while believing we are eating healthy. Doctor Carney teaches how simply switching to foods that do-no-harm reverses even ninety-four years’ worth of damage!

Dr. Carney truly cares about her patients. She runs actual tests to figure out what is going on in your body. And yes, she believes in whole food plant based oil free eating. Dr Carney will teach you to eat for your health and how to get better without medication if possible. She doesn't look for her payday from pharmaceutical companies she wants to teach each of us how to care for our body. She is an amazing doctor and she and her practice definitely reflect the work of God. Thank you Dr. Carney for caring for your patients deeply.

I recently signed on to have Dr. Carney serve as my primary care physician. It was a miraculous option to have a Whole Foods Plant Based doctor that agrees and substantiates my recent lifestyle choice. After multiple visits, I can assert that it was the best choice I have ever made in a doctor. I have so many positive adjectives to describe Dr. Carney that I am going to enumerate them. For the first time in my life, I now have a doctor that satisfies the seven essential qualities of a physician: Compassion, Strong Work Ethic, Professionalism, Knowledge, Confidence, Humility and Passion. To this list I will add: Enthusiastic, Open-Minded, Motivated, Educational, Empathetic, Understanding, Encouraging, Honest and a Great Listener. Dr. Carney spends quality time with me and is not in a rush to get to the next patient. This trait, along with her other wonderful qualities, is what you want in a doctor. Highest Recommendation!

Absolutely awful. Concerned more with money then making people better. My daughter and I have great insurance and the girls at the front desk couldn’t verify it so I had to do their job for them or I had to pay $150 upfront when I have a $15 co pay. Regardless I got it verified but Dr Carny said she doesn’t feel comfortable with that and asked me to leave my credit card on file just Incase the insurance doesn’t pay. Are you serious! I requested to speak w her because i don’t feel comfortable leaving my credit card on file and she refused. Great impression. You’ve succeeded in being greedy doctor with horrible customer service. Called Austin Regional Clinic was seen within the hour of walking out of Dr. Carney - no questions asked. And no asked me to leave my credit card on file. This practice is a joke.

Dr. Carney was probably the best doctor I have been to help me with weight loss, understanding food labels, and understanding my blood tests. Because of this I would give her 5 stars. But her bedside manner is what caused me to stop seeing her. Dr. Carney was my doctor two years ago and perhaps she has changed since then. But when I first saw her, I remember her asking me if I prayed and if I believed in God. I told her politely no, that I was an Athiest. She had her assistant note this in the computer. But she asked me if she could pray for me and include me in her prayer circle. I said, "That was fine, I considered it positive energy." Well every time I saw her, she would ask me again if I prayed. I had to tell her no, that I was an Athiest. I found this quite frustrating considering she noted it on my record. She would talk a lot about religion and praying and how it would help me be strong to resist the temptation. It almost felt like her platform was, "Pray the meat away". She would pray for me in the examination room while I just sat there. I was seeing Dr. Carney for a while but then because of several incidents, I hadn't seen Dr. Carney for over three months. My husband ended up in the hospital, then my son, then my mom died from cancer. I finally made it back and I had gained weight. I tried to explain to Dr. Carney the amount of stress I had been under and I had not been committed to the plant based diet as I had been before. Dr Carney asked, "What did your mom die from?" I responded, "She died from cancer." Dr. Carney said, "Your mom died from cancer because she ate meat." My mother had died 3 weeks prior. I sat there on that table with tears as she turned to talk to her assistant without a care in the world and I knew that was the last time I would see her. I didn't say anything... I regret that to this day which is why I am writing a review. I walked out to the lobby and calmly let them know I would need my records transferred to a different doctor. They could care less the reason. They gave me the standard response.... that they would only release it one time and gave me a copy and told me the charge if I needed another copy. I left the lobby and that was the last time I saw Dr. Carney.

WOW! x 10. What a doctor.Dr. Carney is a genuine renaissance doctor with an ocean of medical knowledge and wisdom that she applies with her extraordinary care of every patient. With Dr. Carney, you are not just the next patient. She sincerely cares about your whole health--mind, body, and spirit.I came to Dr. Carney with serious heart problems, diabetes, and overweight. I knew that I had broken all the 8 laws of health and was a fugitive from the consequences that were catching up to me. She immediately put me back on track with a wonderful, fulfilling vegan diet and exercise. Under her care, I have reversed diabetes, lost significant weight, and healed my heart and spirit.

Dr. Carney is someone you can trust. She cares about you, listens to you, and then works with you to find a way to health. There are very few doctors I trust. She is at the top of the list.
