I've been using Great Clips in Buda for quite some time, and my whole family frequents this specific location. We've seen many great stylists come and go, including a fantastic barber and a stylist named Paulina, both of whom we miss. Currently, there's a young lady named Dennis who works on weekends and cuts my son's hair—she's wonderful, and I highly recommend her.
However, there's one staff member who consistently makes our visits unpleasant. Her name is either Loydia or Lucia (it's hard to tell because her name tag is so faded). She’s an older woman, short with long black hair. I’m not sure if she’s a manager, but if she is, that title should be reconsidered. Every time we come in, her attitude is cold, and she never seems to smile. Even my whole family has noticed her negative demeanor.
Today was the final straw. I walked in with my son, and it was just her and a newer stylist who is still in training. I knew I wasn’t comfortable having the new stylist cut my son's hair yet, so I asked Loydia to do it. Her response shocked me—she flat out refused, saying that when we come in, it feels like we have a problem with her. What made it even worse was that she said this in front of a customer in her chair and another customer in another stylist’s chair. This was incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing.
Just as I was processing what happened, Dennis walked in from the back, and we immediately requested her. However, my son was so upset by the situation that he didn’t even want to walk past Loydia’s chair to get to Dennis’s station. He felt like it was his fault that she refused to cut his hair, and I had to keep reassuring him that it wasn’t.
When I asked Loydia for the corporate office’s number, she refused to give it to me. This behavior is unacceptable, and I’ve since called the San Marcos location to speak with someone in management, as this needs to be addressed. I’m hoping Diana, who I believe is in charge of several Great Clips locations, will follow up with me. It’s a shame that one person’s attitude can ruin what would otherwise be a positive experience.

The customer service is good. The cut is just okay. They always start off great and then it's just seems like they can't get my sons cut right towards the end. Not terrible but you definitely get what you pay for and it's not that affordable there anymore.

My stylist was awesome.
Cut my hair the way I wanted it to be done.
Very happy with their service.
Requested style: My hair was long and I wanted it cut short but not too short and it came out perfect.

Today was ? on top. signed in on the app I was across the street it said 15 minutes so drove to the store walked inside and my time jumped to 35 minutes so I sat there after telling them I was there ,15 more minutes and it went up again so like 40 minutes I came back to work . I won't use them again new owner dropped the ball.

Prior appointment is required, opens at 8.30amStaffs are understanding,quick service and good way to start the day. Online appointment opens only when store opens no prior day booking allowed. Usual wait time is 15-30mins. Parking available infront of the store.
