I have been getting my meds here for a very long time and all the staff at this pharmacy are terrific. The bad posts here are from unemphatic "I want what I want, and I want it now" people. Can you imagine processing HUNDREDS of prescriptions daily for hundreds of people who all: want their prescriptions now, want insurance verified now, want instructions now, and all at the same time. Wow people, cut them a break. If you bother to ask them how they are doing you would find out the staff are very caring people doing the best they can with the time and resources they have. And oh, gosh forbid they have to take a lunch break to consume calories to continue to serve customers throughout the day.

Wait time on hold to speak to pharmacy longer than 15 min. Wish my insurance was through HEB pharmacy.

Very unprofessional. Went into to pick up my prescription and I told the pharmacy manager….the one at the register if he could double check my insurance as I just recently switched and he tells me that “ well it’s probably going to take a while and we’re about to go on lunch….”. The way that i was like oh my gosh no way he just said that, what a joke honestly. As a manager how are you so unprofessional to tell that to a customer. i just needed confirmation and instead of having an ounce of any kind of customer service he lets me know he’s going on lunch and I need to come back. I’m not going to come back if I’m already there and my prescription is ready …. I just needed a simple confirmation of my insurance to make sure I am paying the correct price. I just told him I’ll go ahead and get out of his way and let him have his lunch time since I was such a burden. I paid for my prescription and left because my prescription isn’t something I can wait for him to have lunch time first and then I come back.

This pharmacy has consistently proven to be the most unsatisfactory establishment I have ever encountered. Their utter lack of customer service is appalling, epitomized by their default response of 'I don't know' to every query. Despite repeated promises to follow up or call back, such commitments are never honored. Moreover, the pharmacy is perpetually plagued by disruptions, whether it's a remodel or some malfunctioning equipment. This constant state of disarray makes it a constant battle to obtain the necessary medications.
Despite repeated attempts to communicate these issues to management, our concerns have fallen on deaf ears. It is evident that this pharmacy has no regard for its customers' well-being or satisfaction. Their incompetence and indifference have left us feeling frustrated, helpless, and deeply disappointed. The lack of basic customer service and the persistent operational challenges make this pharmacy an absolute nightmare to deal with.

The pharmacy NEVER answers the phone, which has made it impossible to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. The pharmacist at Walmart spent several hours over multiple attempted calls and could not get through. I had to go in person to request a prescription transfer which they assured me they will take care of it, and they did nothing. I made a second request in person the next day and I am still waiting. I have never seen anything worse than this. They are either completely incompetent or don't care.

Use to love this CVS location and drove from San Marcos to pick up medications from here but I will no longer go here due to the absolutely rude pharmacist that works there. He apparently decided that customers using goodrx to save 5$ is not worth his time and effort and denies any customer using coupons. I called goodrx and they are binded by contract to take goodrx no matter how "backed up" they are or the amount that is discounted. Spoke with a manager and hopefully consequences were taken.

Waited 15 minutes to speak to the pharmacy and in the 2-3 seconds it took me to grab my phone (I put it down next to me on speaker) they said hello and hung up on me. Called back and hung up after holding for 20 minutes.

I have never met a pharmacist as rude as the one who works here, and I've been in health care a long time. (Yes, the tall dark-haired one). As other reviews state, he is defensive, combative, continually cuts people off, and is just generally unpleasant. I was hoping it was just an off day, but I've given him multiple chances. He's the same all the time. Avoid this pharmacy. I don't know what this guy's problem is, but he belongs nowhere in health care (or interacting with other humans). Filing a complaint with CVS corporate. I suggest others do as well. Just look up how to file a complaint, get his name, and get the store number. Over it. I don't think I've ever filed a corporate complaint in my entire life, but this dude clearly needs a psych eval.

Terrible pharmacy. I only stayed this long because it is close to home, but even that's not worth sticking around anymore. I called and was on hold for 12 min until someone answered and immediately hung up. I called back and a male voice did not greet and immediately stated there were 3 callers ahead of me and put me on hold again. I went into the pharmacy at 6pm. Drive thru was closed. I was the 5th customer in line. A female customer speaking to the pharmacist, a young male with dark curly hair, was inquiring about a mix up with her prescription through the app. The pharmacist was clearly defensive. She was being polite and was only asking questions. She would start a sentence and the pharmacist would speak over her, not letting her finish her sentence. The customer remained polite the whole time. When she mentioned something about the pharmacist the previous day, he said he was the pharmacist on duty the previous day and wouldn't have done that.The next customer requested syringes for his prescription. The pharmacist went back and forth with him about why he needed them and when he refilled his last prescription, etc. He had this conversation with him across the pharmacy. The Pharmacist was just so rude.When I was up, I told the pharmacy tech about being hung up on. He said 'It's just two of us. We have a line of customers.' So you just hang up on people?Time to switch pharmacies. From the previous reviews, it doesn't appear this place is getting any better. I haven't posted previously. I gave them the benefit of the doubt maybe they were just having a bad day. But every day is unacceptable.
