I was quoted for a flywheel and starter replacement. I asked if I could bring my own starter I had purchased from Amazon and they said yes but that that part wouldn’t be covered by their warranty,. Upon replacing the flywheel and starter I received the truck back and within 3 ignitions the truck wouldn’t start—stalled at my house. I called them and they towed the truck back to their shop and said that it was my faulty starter that failed—and then proceeded to charge me $120 for the tow and quoted me $420 for their warrantied starter . I ended up getting another shop to tow my truck for free FROM Christian Brothers bc the other garage was going to charge me a little cheaper for the warrantied starter. It ended up actually being a bad wire NOT the starter that was the problem—and Christian Brothers refused to give me a $120 refund for the tow once I found out it was a bad wire in the truck. CBA auto’s tech missed the bad wire and mistakenly said it was the starter that caused my truck to stall. They owe me $120 for the tow that was “my fault.”Left a very bad taste in my mouth and will never go back. Tried to hash it out with the owner Craig and he was unapologetic—maybe he didn’t believe me I don’t know. The kicker was instead of apologizing, admitting wrong, or refunding me for the towing they mailed me a thank you letter (???), as if that would smooth things over—bare minimum would’ve been to apologize and refund me the $120 tow for missing the faulty wire. Do better.

They will break your window and say you brought it in that way.
Seriously - my window switch was working when I brought it in, then it was parked outside - window down - overnight. When I picked it up and noticed it no longer worked, I asked what happened. They went into the back and were murmuring to each other about it. When they came back, they just said they weren’t sure, but it would’ve broken any way.
Took the car in for an issue, and left with a broken window and an outrageous quote. Obviously chose not to use them for the repairs. The dealership did the same job they were going to do with better parts and a lower price anyhow. It was awhile back, but still bothers me and is why I don’t go to Christian Brothers anymore.

Quoted me a starter and flywheel replacement and they said I could provide them an oem starter to save me money. I did so. They installed the flywheel and starter and upon picking up my truck the starter failed after two ignitions. I called them same-day and they towed it back to the shop and told me it would be $420 to put in their chosen brand of starter and also made me pay the $120 tow fee no exceptions. They have very tacky, stingy management. Their tech should’ve tested the originally installed new starter that I purchased for them, they should’ve tested it multiple times before giving it back to me. I actually got a $375 quote from Maverick’s Garage and they TOWED my truck FROM Christian Brother’s for free. Horrible experience, just an embarrassing way to do business. I was referred to Christian Brothers through discount tire he needed some work that discount could not complete and they referred me to Christian brothers saying They were there Number one choice when it came to the mechanical part of service, I have never used them before I went with their referral and sent my son there to get his car fixed like any father. You’re a little nervous wondering if they’re going to try to say he needs things fixed that don’t really need fixed, well they noticed some minor things that Needed fixed,they took it upon their selves to fix it at no charge.from this day forward they will be our only choice for mechanics thank you Christian brothers for all y’all did y’all will be our only choice for mechanics from this day forward

From the moment I walked in, they were friendly and had wonderful communication. They sent me updates about where they were with my vehicle in the service. They serviced my vehicle quickly and I feel confident in choosing CB in Buda.
The waiting areas was very clean. Lots of snacks and drinks. There is a counter top were you can sit and work on a laptop.
Great experience. Definitely recommend!

Best repair shop I’ve used in Kyle/Buda area. I use them for my business fleet as well as personal vehicles. They’re always professional, flexible, & knowledgeable. You can see their company values on how they operate & that’s something I consider admirable. Not the cheapest but certainly fair pricing in line with the market. I’ll use them over the lowest estimate any day of the week.
