Avoid this facility at all cost.
I could tell from the moment walking in that it was a disaster.
The office staff is rude and unprofessional. The medical assistant has an attitude and was trying to rush through my check in.
I got there at 413.
My appointment was at 430 and they don’t close until 5.
The doctor Maryanne Gamble dismisses you like she doesn’t care about you or your comments or concerns about your health.
I’ve never met a doctor more unprofessional than I did today.

Horrible experience with Dr. Vincenz Decastro. I went in for skin sensitivity and burning. He didn’t exam me or look at the affected area at all he just referred me to a chiropractor. Super dismissive doctor. He seemed like he just wanted to get me out of there. Do not schedule with him!

PCP could be replaced with a poorly functioning computer. Terrible patient experience, terrible operational functions (lab work, scheduling, etc), my medical questions never get answered. I have had 6 blood draws in 3 months because they have continually had errors while testing my blood. I am worse off for walking into this place.

**Terrible Experience with Dr. Vincenz Decastro, DO**
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Vincenz Decastro at Austin Regional Clinic - Buda for an ADHD assessment, and it was the most unprofessional medical experience I've ever encountered.
From the moment I walked in, Dr. Decastro was incredibly dismissive and rude. When I began to describe my situation, he told me to "calm down," despite the fact that I was merely trying to explain my symptoms quickly to be efficient with our time. His tone and demeanor were condescending and unprofessional, making me feel unwelcome and unheard.
Throughout the appointment, Dr. Decastro dismissed my concerns and offered no constructive advice or support. His behavior was not only unprofessional for a doctor but also deeply disrespectful on a personal level.
I strongly advise against seeing Dr. Vincenz Decastro if you value your time and well-being. There are far more compassionate and professional doctors available who will treat you with the respect and care you deserve.

Absolutely the worst experience with Dr. Vincenz L DeCastro. No human compassion, seems annoyed and checking his watch when you talk and cutting you off. Talking over you and minimizing symptoms. It took a lot of therapy and courage to come to someone with the symptoms I have been having for over a decade and THIS is who I'm talking to? This "Doctor" needs to find a new profession, half of what you do requires some level of understanding and compassion for your patients and to be treated as if you don't matter or what you're feeling isn't real is incredibly disappointing. I have been a long time patient of ARC and have never had such a belittling experience by anyone other than Dr. DeCastro.

Let me start by saying all the staff and the nurses are exellent but the Dr. Vincenz L DeCastro was not the best experience the time we spent with him was very condescending. He was talking very fast and kept on saying any questions and when I would ask a question he seemed bothered. I wouldn’t recommend this Doctor!!!

Dr Vincent DeCastro was not a good doctor in my experience. He was dismissive of my symptoms, referred me to specialists for things I didn't need, and made it difficult for me to order a test that I wanted.The test ended up uncovering some pretty serious underlying health issues, that he just missed.I have a new primary care physician now, as should you.

I really like seeing Dr Castro. He is quick and efficient. I’ve never had to wait long. Be aware as of 9/23/22 the office is still requiring masks. They have some for people like me that have had four Covid shots and don’t bring their own. On the negative side this office still goes through other “policies” that don’t happen at any other ARC or other offices. Such as, they require to get your blood pressure by requiring you to sit on the exam table. The exam table is terribly uncomfortable for your back and I have chronic back pain. When I said no to the instruction I was told it’s policy. I reflected that and the staff wouldn’t do the blood pressure test if I was sitting in the regular chair as I’ve had preformed at numerous offices before. Each office is entitled to enact which ever policies it feels is necessary. For potential patients it’s up to you if these types of policies work for you.

Staff at the front desk were nice and there was no wait time but the doctor was very condescending. He rolled his eyes on multiple times and told me to see another doctor. I do not recommend Vincenz Decastro.

I don't usually visit this location, but had to come here for a follow up after a car accident. The office staff and nurse were extremely kind and helpful. Dr. DeCastro however, made me feel like I was just annoying him. He rushed through my visit and spoke over me when I tried to explain something or ask questions. He showed no compassion or patience with me. I wouldn't recommend visiting him.

Impressively poor customer service from the office manager Victoria. Dr Gamble was great but yikes, the staff seems to try to get as many poor reviews as possible

Having been a patient here for several years, I am quite done with them after today's fiasco. After booking an appointment for an annual physical with Dr Gamble 90 days ago (yes, that's how long it takes), the practice then proceeded to leave me in a consultation room for 45 minutes with no updates as to why she was delayed, and no offer to reschedule for another time, despite an unanswered request for an update at the 30 minute mark.I like Dr Gamble. She is a very nice, intelligent person. But my time is not free, and no-one should be abandoned like this by any medical practice, no matter how busy they are. I will not be back.

Despite their sanctimonious posters on the wall of how much they care for patients, there is little evidence to support the assertion - and I will not be back.

I truly enjoyed my visits here. The staff members are very welcoming and professional. Sonia was able to get me an appointment asap and she was very friendly and has a wonderful personality. Thank you for taking care of me!
