Appreciate this Veterinarian office tremendously...anytime I have to go there they are prompt and take care of any issues that may occur with my pets ...I haven't ever had trouble getting
my pets seen quickly...I really love this about this office.

This is BY FAR the best vet we have been to. They actually listened to us, let us watch the process and helped both of our sick cats immediately. And very fair prices! We usually go to All Pets but this place was better and less expensive. Nice staff and VERY FAST SERVICE they saw us immediately! We had taken our cat to the TAMU small animal hospital at “emergency hours” (right after I got off work at 11pm) and they did nothing to help us and charged us almost $1,000, the next day we brought them here and they were amazing and actually helped cure our cats upper respiratory infection which the other vet didn’t even mention could be a possibility.

My dog and I always had a good experience at this clinic. Dr. Baggs, the vet techs, and the receptionists are all so kind! I never had any issues with booking and prices were very reasonable compared to other vets I have visited.
Even when we received bad news, Dr. Baggs and his staff provided comfort and reassurance that they would do everything they could to improve my baby's health. I'm sad I had to move after graduation because this vet clinic is by far the BEST!

We had such a great experience with West Brazos. We had a concern about our dog one morning, and they got us in immediately, despite not being our regular vet. They took amazing care of our Eloise and called to check up on her after her visit. We’ll be moving both our dogs to their practice after having such a good experience.

I always have a great experience here! We started coming here (a recommendation from my boss) for a specialty service due to our other vet not really being experts in arthritis and missing a diagnosis 3 times. Then I brought a lost dog as well here and had great experience as they fit me last minute before the holidays. They always fit you in when they can (you might have to wait but that’s not a big deal at least for me I will do whatever I can for the animals I am in care of). I have recently moved over to WBAC fully for all my pets after my regular vet of 7 years tried to push a diagnosis and many many tests on me when it was very clear they were incorrect in their diagnosis. This is not a cost complaint of my other vet as that is not my concern. My concern is that they were doing their jobs poorly) All of the staff I’ve interacted with are so nice and the techs and the doctor will literally get on the floor with my pets and love on them to warm them up to the environment. (Not something my old office would do). Dr. Baggs is awesome! He will give you all the technical details and then dumb it down for you so you can really understand it. He also gets real with you about the options and then gives his recommendation (which at my last vet was to do every single test possible and scare you with poor bedside manner) which is usually let’s start with x and if y and z progress we’ll do abc. I have also had appointments where Dr. Baggs is teaching the next generation of vets and you can really tell he’s passionate about his work and really cares for you and your pet! 10 stars! Highly recommend!

Called and was told a Parvo test would be $36. Then they tack on $75 just for the doctor to read the results, and call it a Exam Fee. After all the money we've already spent here. Never even step foot inside except to pay the bill. The animal was NEVER examined. Then tried to charge me for test that were administered. Please take your loved one to a place that won't try to rip you off. The shelter gives Parvo test for free.

Dr. Baggs and his staff are top notch! Our pup had TPLO surgery and is healing well. God knew what he was doing by directing us to Dr. Baggs and his wonderful staff! They were polite and explained everything thoroughly even when I had to call back a couple of times to ask questions.

Dr. Baggs and his team at West Brazos Veterinary have been nothing short of amazing. Their professionalism, expertise, and kindness have made a difficult time so much easier to navigate. I've been blown away by their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond for my dog's TPLO surgery. Shelby, in particular, has been incredible, checking in on us even when she hadn't heard from me in a few days. Nothing but great things to say all the way around!

They will only order prescription script meds ( including heart guard etc) IF YOU GO INTO CLINIC AND PICK UP SCRIPT AND THEN CHARGE YOU $10 per script you pick up. Will NOT call in or escript any medication. Also can never get to talk to the Vet if there is a problem with your pet. Not even for a f/u call on your pets condition, when complication occurred as result of their medication. And poor response time and filtered through an office clerk. Other than that the surgical skills were good. I just prefer better empathy and communication between pet parent and vet.

If i could give more than 5 stars I would. Our dog ended up getting sick, so I called the office and they booked us an appointment the same day. As soon as we walked into the office the ladies at the front desk knew exactly who we were and greeted us. They got us into a room quickly and the vet tech loved on Goose (our dog) the entire time. Dr.Baggs walked in right after and was so kind and reassuring that everything was ok after he examined Goose. He continued to carry on conversations and was VERY knowlegable about all the questions I had. We will be back going back in the future! THANK YOU West Brazos Animal Center!!!

We had a pet (Bella) passed away. My wife and son rushed her to West brazos animal shelter..... My wife said staff was amazingAnd they even checked in on us a week later. Thank y'all so much!

Dr Baggs and his staff are very thorough and professional. Dr Baggs himself is an excellent surgeon; when other vets were telling me there was no hope for my aging border collie-lab aside from amputation, Dr Baggs was able to remove the mass and she made a full recovery. I'd go so far as to rate Dr Baggs above even the A&M small animal hospital.

I absolutely love this place!!! Dr. Bags and his staff are hands down the best. I 100% trust them with my guinea pigs, and I’ll definitely bring my fur babies here any time they need to! Dr. Bags is very caring and gentle, and will give a great health assessment to your baby. He takes every concern seriously, and listens to you. They’re very transparent, so you are able to see everything that they do to your pet. They are also excellent communicators and very honest. Also, they’re very affordable.Mocha LOVES them!!!
