“1818 Venue was amazing and beautiful for our mother's surpise birthday party. The facility is so elegant and well decorated. It had everything we needed and more. I loved we didn't have to rent tables and chairs or tables for food or drinks. All we had to bring was our decor and didn't really need much because it's just so beautiful inside and out. The bar is gorgeous. Love the faux brick wall behind it. They counter top of the bar is perfect for buffet style and it didn't need much decor because it's so beautiful. The wood wall on one side is just so darn adorable. Love the color scheme of the entire facility. The patio outside is super cute. The entrance table was perfect for displaying our mom’s photos, etc. The big TV for a photo slide show was perfect and super easy to use. It just elevated our event. There were plenty of trash cans and the hidden amenities behind the bar were so helpful especially the mini fridge and sink. It was nice to be able to hide our tubs and containers behind the bar and out of the way for refilling trays and restocking food. The marquee outside was so fun. It's so cool to be able to customize it for your event. I highly recommend the 1818 venue for any event. Charissa was so easy to work with and made our event smooth and easy.”
“We have been to many facilities traveling with horses and this facility was one of the best. The staff was very helpful and the everything was very clean. The buildings were clearly designed for and by someone who understands equestrian needs. The only criticism I would give is that there should be some ability to modify the audio settings in the arena. Having no access to the system provided for a pretty terrible sounding audio system. But that of course is the least of our concerns.”
“We had our wedding at the Astin Mansion and everything was PERFECT! My husband and I loved the history and architecture of the building and that’s why we initially booked with them but the staff made it over the top! Chris and Taylor checked in with us, gave suggestions and made everything go so smoothly. Wouldn’t have changed anything.”
“Place was very nice clean bathrooms very well lite nice and cool temperatures great wait staff convenient location for those of us that live in downtown Bryan only thing is the parking lot not enough parking overflow is to downtown Bryan street parking handicapped parking by the entrance door I believe they were two spaces are not enough beyond that everything was great .”
“The Brazos Center was so very accommodating and spacious. The staff was attentive and available all night. I have no question that for our next events, they will be the first to go too. They have plenty of bathrooms, parking, tables and chairs. Easy access in the back to bring your things in and out. Huge kitchen setup for caterers. Any accommodations you may need they probably provide. You should check them out.”
“A third-floor event venue with outside stairs and inside elevator. Plan to have a sign for your event because the entrance is somewhat obscur. Restrooms are nice and clean.Parking is available but watch for street parking limitations during M-F; 8-5. The area in Bryan is lovely and lots of photo opportunities.Keep in mind there are regular trains running through the area and they are loud. So, there will be interruptions in ceremonies or quiet events.We enjoyed the wedding held there. However, there is not a bride or grooms party dressing area besides the restrooms.”
“The place is newly remodeled, very spacious, has a very nice design, the dressing rooms are very comfortably lit, very good parking; They offer you good packages and rental options. I loved the place”
“I recently attended a wedding at this venue and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. The scenery was incredible and the staff was friendly. Our bartender, Matt, was especially impressive with how well he managed the crowd. Give that man a raise! Great place to have a wedding.”

“Awsome venue, staff was cool as heck, friends wedding was amazing here. Only drawback were the trains but that cant be helped so I'm not knocking any stars for that.”
“It has been a few years since our graduation event but I wanted to be sure to write this even so. The Porter's were easy to work with to sort of customize our event. A basically one gathering room with accessory use areas that has a nice rustic feel overlooking a pond with a large deck. We loved having the serving counter for dinner and a nook for self-serve drinks.This place has good access from the East Bypass (3 miles) or Hwy 21 (1/2 mile). The graduation party for our daughter graduating from Texas A&M was a lot of fun.”
“What can I say but WOW! What a cool place!! Food grown on site, amazing outdoor atmosphere, and staff that make you feel like family. We took a tour and love the setup here, I can't wait to try the food!!”
“The Grand Stafford theatre is a quite nice (in a rough way) place with many bands playing. A very nice bar, and you could maybe ask the bartender for a "Longhorn Haywire" drink!”
“Good municipal course. The course seems to be well maintained and kept in good shape. Definitely keeps it interesting on the tee boxes. You likely shouldn't use driver on every par 4/5. Most holes are not cart path only, but please be respectful of the course if you drive off the path.”

Rooms: The suite was a good size with two separate rooms. It even had a small kitchen and refrigerator. Perfect for a family if staying a few days.”
