If you want to experience the absolute worst customer service, have to spend thousands after being be lied to about a bumper to bumper warranty and then sit around for hours because they don't give out loaners be sure to visit Sterling Auto Group In Bryan TX. If there was a way to rate negative 5 stars I would. This place is awful.

Great experience from start to finish. Scheduling was easy, Jacob explained the process and the wait was minimal. The team they have put together is exceptional. I highly recommend utilizing them. Upon driving up with my vehicle, no one asked if I needed help, the few employees at the front of service look either aloof or stressed. I left my vehicle with Sterling service dept. at 8:30am on 9/26/23 for an oil change, and for them to check why the engine light is on. I had to call several times in the day to check if it was ready for pick up - finally I go to get my vehicle at about 4:30pm. They told me why the engine light was on and scheduled to fix the problem but forgot to do the oil change. ALL day my vehicle was with them and NO oil change was done! I’m pretty patient so I didn’t let that keep me from wanting them to fix it. So we scheduled service for the engine light issues for 10/2/23. I drive almost an hour out of town to bring my vehicle in and upon arrival I am informed that the part that is needed is not in and was told I would need to come back. I’m patient so I scheduled for Thursday 10/5/23. When I left there I received a phone call letting me know that they do not know when the part will be in. The lady Harley helping me was very apologetic and seemed just as frustrated as I was about the situation and it did seem to be out of her control. I understand parts being on back order but the service there is not great. They did offer to schedule the oil change to be done “quickly” on 10/5 but I’m wondering if I should go back.

My service experience was excellent from the scheduling start to picking up my vehicle. The scheduler was efficient and collected all the information necessary to identify the problem and make the appointment at a time that was convenient for me. When I dropped my vehicle off the shuttle was available to take me to my office after confirming the diagnosis with the professional service manager. My vehicle was ready when I expected to be and all was handled professionally.

My vehicle came from a different source in Houston. However, I was super grateful for yall readily accepting my truck. Especially yall accepting the parts I brought from elsewhere (I work for O'Reilly Auto Parts and get discounts on parts). Great communication and catering to my work schedule was super awesome, as well.

I keep trying to give Sterling the benefit and go back to them. But since the first day I bought my Denali, they have really dropped the ball. First I bought a Certified Yukon XL Denali Sept 2022. I thought because it was Certified, I wouldn't need to worry about the vehicle. However- After purchase I was notified it only came with one key. I was told Id get Window tinting on the 2 front windows and then a “brow” on the windshield. Only the two front winders were done. Also- I wanted a mid-level warranty and the guy charged me for the premium warranty. Then Ive brought it back a couple times for little issues like oil changes etc. this last time, I recently brought it in because it “bumps on acceleration.” Felt like the u-joints. Last Friday I got there for my appt and Jacob was very helpful, he said we have to have a diagnosis and parts in, before being allowed to get the rental under my warranty. So they lifted it up and showed me the underside of the denali. RUSTED ALL TO HELL. Both U-joint, the chassie, multiple areas. Mind you- Ive had it less than a year, AND I bought it from Sterling as a Certified used car. Never was I told anything about rust before and it was not listed as a car from up north. So- New plan, Return the car on Monday so that Sterling can order the u-joints which are completely rusted AND the drive feels like u-joints going out. So I took the car back there for my appt on Monday to drop it off was told things would get changed out. Wednesday Jimmy called me saying he couldnt feel anything while driving it. After I pushed back he drove it again and said it was the Auto4wd. And refused to change UJoints. And said I could come test drive it on Friday when I got back to town. I made sure Friday was ok again. He said yes. NOT ONE MENTION OF ME BEING CHARGED FOR THE RENTAL CAR IF THE PART WASNT CHANGED. If that was the case I would have arranged for the denali to be drove and the rental to be returned sooner if that was the case? So Friday I arrive at my appt time- Drive my car, it is still “bumpy” but a little less so I picked it up and made sure they left comments that it was still doing it. So I go to drop off my rental, I am told I owe $248 for the weeks worth of rental. No ONE told me anything about the rental costing me when I called Wednesday. Even the very nice rental guy was irritated that no one told me. So- Now I have a Denali that Ive owned for less than a year which was certified pre-own, rusted to hell, with possible UJoints going out, and I did all the right steps to make the 90min drive one was each time back and forth- and the warranty paid nothing.

I took my car in for an oil change today. I have to say I received the best customer service from a guy named Daniel (green shirt) in service! He was very polite and professional! He walked me to my car and removed the plastic seat protector that was left behind. Daniel made sure that my car was ready for me to drive away! Thank you for being so nice and helpful!

The whole process, from taking the initial test drive - to driving off of your lot eleven days later, was the quickest, most painless car buying experience I've had! Connor is very professional and personable, and he was never pushy. Signing the paperwork was quick, also. We wanted to keep our business local, and with your pricing and your staff, we were able to do that. Thank you!

Let's see, so to start off, ordered a part for a customer and was unable to pick it up personally so had a friend grab it. While on the phone never was I told about a 30% restocking fee, nor was my friend who picked it up.Anyways fastfoward 4 days the customer backs out and so I have to return the part, no problem it happens. Go to return it personally, after waiting about 20mins a lady finally comes to the counter says it's a 30% restocking fee when I try to return the item, because and I quote "Its a special order item" I ask her where this is stated? It is not shown on the bill anywhere, it is not posted in the parts department on the wall or anything. So how would anyone know of this? After a few minutes of back and forth she says okay and walks back to start the refund process.To which I switch from the parts counter to a lady at the window and since I was not the original person to pick it up I don't have the card used to pay for it, my mistake I will admit. But the lady says she cannot refund me for cash or to the card unless I have it in hand, which is odd it can't be refunded to the card since every other company can do it. But she says to write down my mailing address and I will get a check in the mail for the amount, its been over 2 full weeks now and still no check in the mail.

The process was amazing. The professionalism shown by the salesman (Gee Cao), his management team and the financing department was exemplary. Looking forward to working with this organization the next time I need a vehicle.

Kenneth Birdwell got my truck in, set up for my transmission to be replaced, got my oil changed, a coil issue taken care of and a extra I added in to ave some aftermarket lights wired up. I spent a pretty penny, but everything was smooth and the detail on my truck was beyond amazing! the detail job on my truck looked as if it was going to be on the lot for sale like a new vehicle! The job the guy did was amazing, very detailed clean up of my truck! Even the engine bay was spotless!

Appointment is necessary.Call to schedule an appointment, the online booking had given us issues before, it does not show on the dealership's list and we ended having to reschedule after we arrived.Other than that, no issues with the quality of service.
