Expensive!! They quoted me $660 for some work on my car. Got it a lot cheaper somewhere else. The price quoted sounded more like a dealership quote.

ask for an A/C replacement quote so I could budget for worse case scenario. They said they had to confirm what I already knew. Long story Short, paid 200$ to get a 5100$ quote to replace compressor, expansion valve, and (condenser heat exchanger just in case per CB) Driving it to Oklahoma now to pay 2500$ for the same work.

Had a decent experience once before but thought price was a little excessive. Bought a door handle to be installed on a car and took there and they advised they won’t install any parts not purchased through them. I can do it myself or take to a mechanic shop that will do it. Other places with better prices and service around.

I had scheduled my brakes to be done here last March I recently had to bring my vehicle in for an unrelated service yesterday in which they told me my rear brakes only had 20% life on them. Whomever did my rear brakes here did not do them correctly because a piece on the rotor was not connected appropriately and fell off and was tumbling around and I heard it while driving. The mechanic told me whoever did my rear brakes clearly had never done them before. I’m so disappointed because I user to swear by Christian brothers.

My friend told me to drop my car here so they can inspect what was going on with it. So glad I did! Took it to the other shop and they started telling me my brake was not working right, tire alignment needed, etc, without showing me any proof whether I need to fix it or not. Not here! They sent me a PDF report including pictures of what needed to be done first. Super satisfied ??

Dropped our truck off on a Tuesday morning to check out a front end noise and was told we would hear something that evening or Wednesday morning. I waited patiently till Friday to call and got tossed around not getting any answers. Ended up going down there to find they haven’t even looked at it so we got the truck and left. Don’t waste your time at this location.

I called last Thursday to get a quote and schedule service for multiple fluid services, and brakes. They gave me the quote, said it would be five hours of labor. So I asked if I brought it in Monday morning, if I could pick it up at the end of the day, they said no problem.
When I arrived Monday morning, everyone was there except the person who has the key to open for business. I should have walked away at that point. Because when I checked the status later that afternoon, they hadn't even started work. So I checked back the next morning and they said they'd be able to start work shortly. I asked if it would be done by the end of day, again the response was "no problem". Close to the end of my workday, I called to check status again, still not done. But they only had the brakes and transmission service left to do and recommended that I call back the next day at about 11am.
So I called back at my first break, at about 2pm, to check status and they still weren't done and were working on the breaks. So thinking that this should be the last thing on the list, I got a ride up there at 5pm to pick it up. Well, after they allowed shop to close up around me, not saying a damn word to me about what the status is for the full hour and a half I sat there, at 15 minutes after close they come up to me and said there was a large ridge on the rotors, that evidently took 7 hours to correct because the transmission wasn't done either, and that they neglected to order the gaskets for the differentials (which means they weren't done when I was previously told they were).
I just moved here from Leander, where I had a mechanic that I could rely upon. He earned my business on my first service, where he quoted me to add a leaf to my rear suspension. When I dropped the car off in the morning I was expecting it to be next-day service, but he said it would be ready by end of day. He called me back an hour before closing to let me know that it wouldn't be done by 6pm, their closing time. I was expecting to hear him tell me it would be the next day when he could finish up, but he instead told me that it would be 8pm. He stayed afterhours and finished the work. He kept his word and when he wasn't going to meet a time commitment, he let me know well before the committed time came. That is how to earn trust and business.
Christian Brothers falls so short of this bar. I did not receive a single proactive contact to give me status or let me know when previous commitments weren't going to be met and each time I spoke to someone they assured me they'd be done well before the end of day. They told me that services had already been completed when they had not. At this point I am now beginning to worry about the quality of the work being done. I have no trust for them at this point and they have my truck hostage in their bay.
So here I sit, four days without my vehicle for a service that they said they'd have done in a day.

I can't recommend Christian Brothers Automotive highly enough, especially Malcolm! When my Jeep faced a major issue, they were my knights in shining armor, going above and beyond to help, even handling calls with Jeep warranty (on hold for hours), handling tow companies, and navigating complex problems on my behalf. They are always patient, kind, and ingenuitive - even figuring out ways to actually save me money on services.
We've relied on them for routine services for years, but their exceptional thoughtfulness, integrity, and care during this stressful situation have solidified our loyalty. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our family's vehicles! I always shout their praises to all of my friends who need a car shop.
Unlike some repair shops and dealerships that seem to prey on women's perceived lack of car knowledge, over the past few years Christian Brothers has always treated me with respect and never attempted to use Car Vocabulary Word Salad to convince me of unnecessary repairs or add-ons. They always explain the issue clearly, provide photos, and never try to upsell or invent unnecessary repairs for profit.
In fact, for this issue, I'm sure that they did far more detective work on my Jeep than what they charged me for, demonstrating their honesty and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Upon arrival I was less than satisfied by Malcom’s attitude. He was overly annoyed over whose name the appointment was booked in and rude in return. We booked the appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. We noticed they did not perform a tire rotation and WE brought it to their attention when they brought us to check out. We waited an additional 20 minutes for this to be performed and all in all waited an hour for an oil change and tire rotation- with an appointment. We understand things happen but will likely not return to this location largely because of the rudeness portrayed by Malcom.

They are professional & treat the customer right. They fixed our 06 Dodge Diesel 2500 Ram Mega cab & went the extra mile with inspection. We use this truck mainly for pulling our 35 ft. camper. We try to travel about 5000+ miles every year. The truck has 193,000 miles on it. So it is no spring chicken, but it still needs to perform like one.

Ok place but they want to charge you for labor and there parts won't work on your vehicle if you're looking for just labor

Honest, fast and great communication. Super welcoming. As a woman you are always a little apprehensive about getting taken advantage of at a mechanic. Definitely not the case here. Definitely will be returning!
