Getting these people to move on your loan paperwork is impossible. With land moving so fast one needs pre-approval quickly. This is not the place to go for that.

We sent all required paperwork in after visiting office in person. That was a month ago and we have never heard a word from loan officer. We lost the land while waiting on pre approval letter. This was La Grange office.

I had a residential construction loan from CFC. Not many banks do construction loans. As the previous reviewer said, you have to buy into the company. When we finished construction, we went with a different bank for permanent financing. We went into the Bryan, TX CFC office to see about our "Patronage Refund". We were told it was rolled into the final numbers, Well, OK. Nine months later, we received our refund in a junk-mail looking envelope with bulk rate postage. The check looked like one of those bogus checks that come with advertising. I mobile- deposited the check and all is well. I guess CFC is hoping the ex-customer trashes the mail with the check. I almost did. Besides that, CFC was OK. Mo major problems but certainly not the best bank or customer service either.
